2 Point Tactical Shoulder Strap/Gun Sling (Olive Green)

​Here is the deal on Slings. I served 6 years in an infantry unit back in the 1990's. We didn't have all this nice gear at our disposal. If you own an AR15 or any other rifle you know that there are a Plethora of accessories available. There are slings by 100 different companies that promise the world. Back in the day, our issue slings would break all the time. We ended up using duffle bag shoulder straps! They lasted 100 times longer, after all, luggage straps are made to be tough. And they are made to carry heavy weight, which a rifle is not.I build an AR15 every few months and I own quite a collection. I've bought all the BS Gimmick slings like Magpul, VTAC, and SPEC OPS. Why did I buy them? Because I like throwing good money away. This Sling was exactly what I was looking for. It's tough and gets the job done! You DONT need all that padding and adjustments that the gimmick slings offer!! We were trained to fight outside the sling, and until this day that is still the best position. You should only be using your sling if your rifle becomes combat ineffective or you are not in combat mode.The simplicity of this sling is exactly what you need and no more or less. It has a good amount of adjustment too, you can get it real tight. The attachment hooks are metal and the webbing is strong. Don't be sold on all these slings that require special swivels and parts! You are just making companies rich!! This sling along with a Military Grade zip tie is all you need. See my pics, if you are going to use this sling wrap some tape around the metal to protect your butt stock. This is the best $10 you will invest in your rifle!

Pros: Adjustable, simple, secure, affordable, variety of color options.Cons: Metal hooks can rub against finish, strap is a bit abrasive on uncovered skinI use this strap on my AK pistol and it holds up quite well. It is strong and secure with a wide enough strap to distribute weight comfortably. The material will chafe your neck if it is in direct contact with the skin. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

I bought this for my SKS, it doesn't really fit quite right, but it's hard to complain for the price. Wouldn't really recommend for older surplus rifles, but it seems like it'd be a decent, cheap strap for any modern rifle. It doesn't hurt my shoulders, is reasonably comfortable, and robust.

Great sling, well made and comfortable. The stitching is amazing on the seams and the attachment hooks are solid. The price is so worth it too! Note: the attachment hooks are so solid that they may scuff up your sling loops like they did on my Colt. The loops are plastic on mine so that's why. I'd recommend dipping them in a resin or something to protect them for the attachment hooks.

While this is very rugged and period correct, I did not leave this on my gun because it scratched it all up. I really wanted to keep it as it is comfortable and I like the quality, but I can't have the metal clamps ruining my gun.

I got it for my AR. I put an ATI Picatinny Sling Mount with Quick Release Swivel on first and this strap seems to work very well with it. I thought that the metal couplings might scratch the finish of the gun, but it doesn't seam to be an issue at all. (I could care less in a WROL anyway.) Nice and simple no fancy shmansy bu-l cr-p. It's long enough to sling it however you want and well made.

High quality construction, and box stitching on the ends!! It was also great to find a sling made in the U.S.A and for a really reasonable price.

Great little sling with heavy duty hardware. Also comes with a free mini pouch. Not everyone's gonna be playing Seal team 6 anytime soon so this is all you would need for your rifle/shotgun set up.
