Love it but...
Overall I love this coat, only issue I have with it is that the hand pockets. They aren't zippered and I feel all any heat in there gets lost easily.

Has plusses and minuses
I have mixed feelings about this heated jacket purchase.I like the look of the jacket itself. It is a decent looking jacket whose looks would stand their own merit even if there wasn't a heating element inside. The fact that the power button is located inside the coat is a big win. Your coat doesn't glow in the dark. I owned a coat with an outside power button. It is beyond dorky. Something you couldn't wear in formal events.Another big win is the lack of a designer label on the outside. My name is not Ororo. I am grateful the jacket doesn't suggest that it is.I like that the battery element pouch is located to the left of the left pocket (ie separate from the pocket). This ensures the battery doesn't take away from the pocket space. This is not the case in other heated jackets.I like the stretch inner cuff on the sleeve. Makes the sleeves fit better.I am finding the jacket to be a bit thicker than I would prefer. In the abstract, a heated jacket is supposed to give you the comfort and minimum coverage of a spring jacket with the heating coverage of a winter jacket. This jacket is on the heavier side of a spring jacket.I am finding the fit to be too large. Pay heed to the first bullet in the Amazon description - "Model is 6'2" and wearing a size Medium". They aren't lying. I figured it would be better to error towards the side of too large than too small, but there is one aspect I hadn't considered... when the jacket is too large, the jacket hangs off your shoulders and the rest of the coat isn't as close to your body as a normal coat. The extra space between the heating element and your body lessons the deliverance of the heat. I recommend erring to the side of too small. As frequently mentioned in other comments, the lack of a heating element in the chest area keeps means less warmth. This is egregious in this instance because this coat isn't a budget coat. The heating element functionality is the weakest part of the jacket and the biggest reason for docking it two stars. At the highest temperature setting, I can barely feel the front side heating elements. Coupled with the lack of a heating elements in the chest, the only real heat this coat provides is from the heating elements in the back. I have concerns whether this coat will keep me warm in the winter cold. Unfortunately, it is spring time and I haven't been able to give it a real test drive in the cold.

Worth the money
Works extremely well and works as it was designed.

My favorite jacket so far
So much good to say here. First off, the fit is perfect for me. I'm 6'2 at 180lbs with a lanky kind of build. Bought the medium because of the model in the pictures being roughly the same frame. It fits amazingly well - maybe just a hair tight in the chest, but the rest of the fit is crazy good.Next - I love that the power button is in the inside. I'm not in for being 'that guy' and glowing in the dark. Also, the logo branding is super subtle - slightly darker stitching on the sleeve, so i don't feel like a walking advertisement. For warmth - the coat itself has great insulation. Even without the battery on, it's solid, which is actually the most important thing. The actual heating aspect falls in the good-not-amazing category. The back element is very noticeable - the front a lot less so. I almost always crank it up as high as it goes, and it's rare that I'm 'too hot' because of it.A few minor things I would change: - front heating element should extend up the chest. - the battery uses USB-C to charge, which is great, but the only power-out is the USB-A port - The hood is pretty useless, but it can disconnect which is great - The front heating element could be stronger in generalAll in all though, it's really exceeded expectations so far.

Update: New coat seems to be better so far.
Update: 11/02/2018Company sent a replacement coat right away with no hassle. That in itself is worth something. They seemed to really want to make things right. I decided to go up a size to an XL from a large. Fit seems to be better in the XL.Right away I could see differences in the new jacket compared to the old. I wonder if this is a new version. I immediately checked the stitching in the pockets as those ripped out within days. These seem better, as does the rest of the jacket really. The battery and charger are completely different. ( See pictures of the batteries. New Battery is black. ) The new battery plugs in USB-C to charge, where as the original plugs in with a straight plug. The new battery is smaller, more light weight, and just looks more premium. There is a button on the side that you can push to see remaining charge. My confidence in the jacket is a little less, and we will see how the new one holds up, but so far it's better than the first jacket.Original review:Let me start by saying there isn't really anything about this coat that I even remotely like. Does it heat...yes. But...the plug that goes in the battery does not stay in. It always slides out. I have to keep checking it to make sure it didn't disconnect.I haven't had this coat a week and both pockets are ripping out which is odd because I haven't used them. I put my hands in the pockets when I first put it on to check to see if it would heat my hands but that's it.The sleeve construction is also strange. The area around the arm pit is shorter than you think it should be so the fit is really restrictive. Going to a larger size would negate the heating because the rest of the fit would be too big.The over all quality makes me think of something you would get from a dollar store. Cheaply made, and rushed. The idea was good, but quality really really bad.No way could I recommend this coat. Worst coat I have ever owned.

Flimsy, broken in 3 months
It’s good in terms of warming your body but it only lasted for 3 months and now both warming pads in the pockets are not working. It’s too expensive if it inly lasts a couple of months. I’ll try to see if I can still have it replaced.

Sizing chart is way off
I measured my sleeve at 23inches when a small was supposedly "27inches" comes up half an inch short on me

Well made and warm
Heat in the pocket area could be a little hotter.
