Congoleum SU106 Seam Sealer Kit

The perfect way to seal between the seams of Congoleum
This stuff works really well. It flows from the T shaped nozzle in-between the cracks perfectly. The only thing I would warn about is that the fumes while working with this stuff can overwhelm you. Wear a carbon filter painting mask or have really good ventilation... Once the sealer dries, it is as though the different tiles are bonded as one piece. I used this to seal the tiles in 2 different bathrooms and those floors are basically one single piece now! Perfect to prevent water damage in bathrooms!

Works great on its intended flooring
This is only for certain Congoleum flooring (urethane top layer); you can look up which on their website. It basically fuses the two flooring edges together, and also provides a coating on either side of the seam. It goes on as a watery liquid but drys totally invisible, even matching the matte finish on my floor. I glued a couple of scraps together for practice (recommended!) and the seam is as strong as the flooring. Minus one star for being a month or so past the package expiration date, but it worked fine. I too saved half for potential future repairs even though this was intended as a single-use package (for 50+ ft of seam). The kit comes complete as shown. Cleans up (when wet) with mineral spirits or lighter fluid.

Congoleum Sealer
I bought this product to reseal a seam, and cover several dings and scratches in my Congoleum laminate floor. It worked well on the scratches...cannot see them any more. But I still see the seam and also the deeper gouges. The flooring people who laid this laminate flooring went out of business so I had to try to fix it myself. They had sealed a seam in a heavy traffic area, but it wore off. I would recommend it over trying other products (I had to clean up some messes from trying to use glue, and other products.) It is expensive, but I am glad I have it. I did not use it all as instructed. It comes as 2 different components. I mixed small amounts in a small container and saved the rest for future jobs. You can't mix them and save them.

not good
simply only works on congoleum. not on vinyl. linoleum, marmolium or ANY other flooring. it is messy, very dangerous to smell and use and simply not a good product.
