Could someone help, as the memory stick keeps saying it’s locked

Having made the school boy error of wiping my HDD completly clean, so my Mac had no OS at all. It attempted to run "Internet Recovery" and re-install Sierra. This failed on multiple ocassions (due to issues with Sierra over High-Sierra).Having had issues creating a bootable USB drive of my own, my last ditch attempt was to try this.I tried this knowing my Mac was launched with Sierra but this OS was slightly newer (bear in mind my Mac didnt know where it was or what date/time it was).The instructions are clear and consistent, however I couldn't use them as my Mac didnt know if it was a laptop or a toaster at this point, so holding any key whilst starting up did nothing.So I plugged in the USB stick into my USB-C to USB dongle, powered my Mac on and hoped for the best.Less than 30 mins later I am back with a fully operating OS and am now updating it from this OS, straight to Ventura with no issues at all!Worth every penny!

Accidentally deleted the start up files when I did a factory reset…. Got the flashing question mark of doom. Unable to download OS from recovery.I appreciate I could have made my own recovery disc from the App Store but this solution worked seamlessly without any difficultiesComprehensive instructions enclosed with the drive

Didn't work because my Mac was seemingly too old but the ad failed to tell me that so that was a waste of £18.00

I have to say I was a bit sceptical about this . However , following the very simple steps on the sheet provided , this absolutely restored my very nicked up operating system and a Mac that I couldn’t hardly use for over a year to as good as new . Thankfully I had backed my files up - but you have two options - attempt to restore your Mac or erase your “ self mucked up” drives and partition back to Mac OS journaled and install simply by restarting your Mac with this in the USB port . Thanks guys as this Mac was going to be scrapped and it’s only 3 years old - best money ever spent . Sorry - I know I’m gushing so you might think it’s not a genuine review - but it is and I am just so relieved to have my iMac back !

I am receiving the above error message when installing the OS from a format hard drive which has been partitionedI’ve looked online and it says I should change my date via the terminal, which I also did with no luckWhat do I need to do to get this working?

Da ich mein MacBook Pro Mitte 2012 leistungsfähiger machen wollte, brauchte ich einen boot fähigen USB Stick da man leider über Apple keine Software mehr bekommt !Also 16GB RAM und eine 500 GB SSD Festplatte eingebaut USB Stick dran und alles klappte ohne Probleme! Außerdem ist noch zu erwähnen das ich Festplatte, RAM und Stick bei Amazon bestellt habe und Alles am nächsten Tag da war !

Remise à niveau du Mac OS de mon MacBook Pro 10.10 de l’année 2015 en le passant au 10.14 (Mojave).La clé USB est arrivée en bonne et due forme, bien protégée par l’emballage. Il y’avait une petite feuille explicative avec photos à l’appui sur le fonctionnement qui était incluse. La mise à niveau (6 giga de données) a très bien marché. Mon MacBook peut maintenant accepter des programmes récents et je peux télécharger certaines applications de statistiques (ce qui n’était pas possible de faire avant). Bravo pour la clé 👍 👏 , et excellentes fêtes de fin d’année.

schnell verschickt, wie beschrieben boot-fähiger USB-Stix inclusive. Anleitung und Angebot für Support, falls was nicht klappen sollte. Bei mir unproblematisch Mojave neu installiert und über Time Machine das MacBook in den alten Zustand gebracht, nachdem dieses beim Starten hängen blieb und nichts sonst geholfen hat..., also letztlich System mit dem Stix neu aufgespielt....Verkäufer und Produkt absolut zu empfehlen. Lediglich der USB-Stix hätte etwas schmaler sein können, es war schon etwas knapp mit dem Stix und der Timemachine-Festplatte direkt nebeneinander in den beiden USB-Ports des MacBook.
