I use the armband for running. I have very thin arms so I tried it on without having my phone (iPhone 5) in it. It was big even though I put it through it the smallest slot. This has always been a problem for me; however, when I put the phone into the band, it tightened it up so it worked very well and did not slide down my arm while running. I can't fault it for this as I am very thin so for everyone else it would not be a problem. It is very lightweight, more so than the previous bands I've owned - which, by the way, I needed to twist the band before attaching it to the velcro so it would be tight enough. The only comments I would make is: 1)the very bottom of the home button is covered by the band but this in no way prevents its use not that you would need to while running and 2) the phone does not fit entirely into the band so that very top of the phone is out. But again I did not find this to be a problem; in fact the phone is very secure in the band. The best feature for me is the fact that it does not add to the weight of the phone.

I am an avid runner and there is nothing more annoying than having an armband that does not fit perfectly. This has enough stretching ability to fit my arm(women's average size) without slipping while running. It is also very comfortable. I was hoping it fit my iPhone 5 with it's life proof case, but it does not. That is not a big deal, but it would be easier to leave the phone in its case while using this. The price is awesome and the seller contacted me when the item was shipped and offered a full money back guarantee if I was not satisfied within 30 days of its arrival. However, after wearing it a few times, I washed it to get the sweat smell out and it started ripping and within a few days of wearing it again, the band totally broke. I was disappointed but I guess it would've lasted longer if I didn't wash it.

Got it yesterday. Not clear about the quality, but not satisfied with the size and the dimensions. Here it is: I am cautious about my iPhone 5, protecting it with a thicker case (about 0.4 mm at most ). So the first disadvantage of the armband is the small cut on of the pocket which I have to cut more on the edges of the slit to fit the thicker iPhone; Then because the phone is longer, wider and thicker, it could only fit in bottom side of the pocket but can't fit in the top side; even if the phone could fit in the pocket, there is another problem, the cut hole for the earplug is way off the position. I want to return this but will probably not, just because I don't like to go through the troubles of returning and buying a new one.

I run 3.5 miles twice a week. I have used this armband so far 3 times with an iphone 5S.The positive: no extra material, just the minimum needed to hold the phone in place. The best is that the band around the am is neoprene and not thin elastic material that would allow the iphone to swing as you run. Instead it is held tightly in place against your arm with no motion. The phone fit is tight which i view as a positive because it does not move independently as you run. There are two possible slots for the velcro band to go though to accommodate 2 ranges of arm thicknesses, and a slot for a key, which is good for a thin key. My car key did not fit but I slid it between the iphone and the neoprene material and that works too. There are two possible holes on top and bottom for headphones, so there is no up or down for the armband. The plastic cover does not prevent the use of the touch sensitive screen.Things to improve:The most important one: The volume bottoms of the iphone are very hard to push while running. They are quite inaccessible and buried under a thick cover of materialHard to activate the home bottom on the iphone as it sits no quite under the plastic but a bit under the plastic screen and a bit under the material that surrounds the screen.Overall: very satisfied

this armband is ok. it's not the most stylish thing, but it's got the reflective strip, which is nice. it also fits my muscular upper arms, which is good for me - i can't usually wear a "women's" armband, because they're too small. as it is though, i have to wear it as large as it goes. it also absorbed sweat, rather than repelling it. it's nice that the sweat doesn't pool underneath it, which can be uncomfortable, but if you're a heavy sweater, it's NOT going to keep your phone dry!

I recently purchased a blue tooth headset for exercising and working outside in the yard. As a result I wanted a case to hold my iPhone 5 that allowed me to move my arms freely and keep the phone protected from dirt, falling out of my pocket, etc. After looking at several arm holders on line and reading the reviews I decided on this one by Red Star Tec. The number one reason was that it was the only one that was completely adjustable for arm size. I am a 98lb. woman with very thin upper arms and wanted a secure fit but also room to adjust based upon what clothing I am wearing-shirt, different weight jackets, etc. I have been using this armband for the last month and it works perfectly. The clear plastic front lets you easily use your phone while in the case. It is also nice to have the hidden slot for a single key in the band. The only drawback, as others, have noted, is that I have to take my phone out of its case to fit the armband. However, since there are so many different size phone cases I don't know how the manufacturer could satisfy allowing different size cases and still maintain a secure fit for all. This case is a great buy for the money. Totally pleased with this purchase!

I've had this armband for about 2 weeks now and I just got around to using it yesterday. I took it to the gym and put it on before half an hour on the treadmill. It stayed in place and held my phone just fine. The hole for the headphones is exactly in the right spot. I love that it has a slot for a key, although I wish there was a snap or something to keep that little slot closed. Be aware that there are different ways to size the armband, so you might want to figure that out at home before you use it! Overall, would recommend this product.
