I needed a replacement for my edge roller. This one is much nicer than the one I had. I like that you can unscrew both ends and actually clean inside if you accidentally get edge flex inside the shaft. If I had been able to open the one from the leather store, I wouldn't have needed to replace it. The metal is easier to clean than the plastic one I had. It rolls smoothly and gets the job done. I also love the color choices. Over all, I would say it's a great tool for anyone doing leather working.

I just finished my first project using this edge painter, and I am very happy with it. This project had lots of edges to do, and I had minimal issues with getting paint where I did not want it. It holds a good amount of paint, and rolls easily across the leather to give a nice even spread. I used fiebing's edge kote with this, and was happy with the results! I would give the end a good rinse after I was done with an edge, which kept the paint from drying on the tip. If it dries, it can be a little bit more work to get clean. But a good rinse, and it was good as new waiting for the next edge to be ready for paint.

Mine is damaged and does not work. It's bent and will not rotate inside the handle. Good product if you get one that doesn't get bent before you get it. 3. stars because it likely would have been a winner. Maybe I can straighten it out? We'll see. UPDATE: I sent this one back for a replacement. The replacement works as it is supposed to. Works great for tricky spots. So I added back a star. I'm happy with it.

Hace años que uso otra marca, acabo de pedir este y he quedado maravillado, es el mejor accesorio para pintar bordes que he probado. Si me pidieran una sugerencia simplemente lo hubiera echo más delgado, más parecido a un bolígrafo, pienso que es más cómodo, de todas maneras repito, es el mejor.

When this edger first arrived the barrel was larger than I had expected and I wondered why they it so large? After a short amount of use, I got it…..it is VERY comfortable to use, much more so than the narrow ones I have previously tried. I might edge 100-200 pieces in a sitting and this is awesome! Very comfortable in the hand, it puts on the exact right amount of dye, no dripping or excess, and LOVE that its so easy to take apart and clean…..again, that is because the barrel is large! I clean my thoroughly after each use and use a little white grease inside the top and bottom contact points and it rolls like a champ! Don’t think you can go wrong with this edger and I just don’t see it ever wearing out.

Okay I like this it's easy to use HOWEVER, the dang cap screw on the butt of this keeps randomly falling, off which in turn makes the point wobbly & sloppy. The last time it happened I couldn't find the little dang thing, so I've just taken the entire metal piece out of the plastic housing and I'm using it that way . I have no idea why this falls off I think it's the rotation of the pen itself causing the top to unscrew, which is just a horrible design flaw.

This roller works perfectly with the fiebings edge kite. Was able to do the edges of my vintage LV six key holder. Also used on my vintage LV Sara wallet. Easy to use and apply. Looks great. Great price point.
