Sugarbooger Peek-A-Boo Silverware Set, Red Raspberry (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

We're traveling a lot this summer so i bought these mostly because of the carrying case and the fact that they were metal. I think they're cute and the colors are as pictured (i got the red and green ones). The only thing i don't love is how dull the fork is. Even more so than the other sets i've ordered from different companies. I know they don't want to give kids super sharp utensils but i feel like they should still be able to stab into soft food, otherwise why not just give them only a spoon?Overall we still think they're fine for us - my kids are newer with utensils (we have a 1 & 2 year old) so it'll be fine for them - but maybe not for an older kid.

The plastic comes off the sides after you beginning washing and using.

The box is very convenient to bring fork, spoon and small cerise and bib out!

It clearly states on the packaging that this is "hand wash only" not dishwasher safe as stated in the description. If it weren't for that I would think that this silverware was great--I like the handle shape better than the other "decorative" sugarbooger silverware set I ordered; they have a nice feel and the shape seems like it would be easier for a toddler to grip. Unfortunately, we are a house where everything goes in the dishwasher, so these will be going back. I have already contacted amazon, and they are being great about the return, but I really wish these would have worked for me.I also noticed after I submitted this review that the case does not have a magnetic closure as stated (which you can clearly see in the picture) which, I think I would prefer this snap-type closure over the magnetic one.Overall, I would recommend this if you don't mind hand washing. It just isn't a good fit for my household.

I bought 3 sets of these in different themes for our Grandson at Christmas, a lot of the patterns have already washed off.

This has been a great set for our granddaughter who is now 20 months. The clunky handles work well for her and she doesgreat with a spoon and the fork. The red color makes it easy for us to spot in the drawer. I give it a 4 star for only one reason: the fork tines are not as sharp as we would like, making it difficult for her to "stab" her food. I think that is the trend now, for safety reasons, I'm sure. However, the forks I still have from when my daughters were toddlers are sharper and work much better.

Great for daycare and travel.

These silverware are way too big for a 2 year-old. The fork and the spoon are too wide for my kid to put in her mouth. I ended up returning the set.
