Used the metal pie crust shields for years. I had one 8" and one 9"... but they were always too big and never covered the entire crust. I also had an issue if I made 2 pies at the same time. I bought these adjustable pie shields before my summer squash pie marathon started, and have used them numerous times. They are easy to use... I just spray the bottom with spray oil so they don't stick. They are also easy to store.

They were too small for my pie dishes but that was my fault for ordering the wrong size. They are sturdy & will work good on the correct size pan.

Used these during the holidays and they worked great! Love it that you get 2, and they are adjustable! Plus they didn’t stick to my crust. Cleaned us with a little soap and water. Just be careful when you relive it from your pie. They get extremely hot.

I was previously using foil covers and had to put 3 on each pie. Now all I have to do is wrap this one around it. It makes it so much easier.

I bought these because they were supposed to fit up to an 11 inch pie plate. They do not. There is about a 4 inch gap that they do not cover.

Wish I had these years ago. Beats trying to put foil around my pecan pie crust?
