My float/buoy ended up collapsing and would overflow constantly, but I ended up replacing the whole fill valve to renew an older toilet model that’s otherwise working perfectly. This was an easy install since everything is hand-tight. The black fill valve kit (not the gray) is the replacement for the 1188946 fill valve. Caution to DIYers: If you’re replacing the fill valve on an older toilet, be prepared for the old water tube/hose to be stiff and bonded to the flush valve due to age and water minerals and whatnot. Do not pull on the tube with force, you’ll break the stem of the flush valve needlessly and then you’ll have to replace that too. Instead, cut the tube in half (new one is provided) so you can get the fill valve out, and then carefully cut around the flush valve end so you can remove it by splitting the tube into two pieces.

Le filetage pour la jonction d'arriver d'eau est en plastique et n'est pas compatible à l'alimentation d'eau,ni à l'ouverture du réservoir. Le filetage (plastique) est beaucoup trop gros, même les réducteurs ne s'adaptent pas.
