SOFT FORM HERNIA BRIEF MEDIUM 32-34" FLA 67-500500

A few years ago, I developed an inguinal hernia on my left side. I purchased these briefs and 2 other belts to try. Unfortunately, due to the type of hernia I had, none of them worked and had surgery as soon as possible. A couple of years later, I developed a small hernia on the right side. This time, the supports worked and provided the relief I need. Quickly, I found out that the briefs were way more comfortable and easier to use than the belts so I stopped wearing the belts. I ordered another pair of hernia briefs to alternate(1 in wash, 1 to wear). Ideally, you are supposed to handwash and hang dry. However, due to convenience and sanitary reasons, I eventually started washing on hot and throwing them in the dryer as well. If they fell apart, I figured I would just order more. After a one and a half years of wearing 2 briefs, they still work like new and not even close to falling apart! I figured out that each brief already has been washed and worn over 270 times! The first pair I bought was a medium and a little snug for me now because I had gained weight since the first hernia. So, I bought large for the second pair. In the meantime, I got back to my original weight. They are true to size and despite being washed many times in hot and dried on high, shrinkage has been minimal. To be on the safe side, you may want to order 1 size up. This will allow your waist to feel comfortable and not too cramped yet still provide the hernia support you need due to the pads supplied and due to the adjustable velcro adjustment straps in front. I am able to wear and due wear both sizes; however, I prefer the larger size due the comfort level on my waist.The only drawback is that I live in Arizona. Wearing an undergarment made out of spandex and other plastic materials can be uncomfortable by the end of the day especially during the summer time and also due to the fact that I am a chiropractor whose job involves alot of physical activity(alot of bending and stooping); however, I have adapted. I now have empathy for women who wear girdles with similar materials! Fortunately, I can switch to regular underwear when I get home from work and on the weekends.These briefs have an incredibly unique pouch. It is designed so that you have easy access whether you are right handed or left handed; yet, your genitals do not flop out of the pouch by accident. The pouch design is also very comfortable. I wish my regular underwear had a similar design.My wife told me to write a review after hearing so many times how I was impressed with the quality of suppport and longevity of these hernia briefs. So here I am. I would rate these briefs as 5x better than the 2 belt supports I had purchased. These briefs are worth every penny and then some. In a couple of years after I retire, I will have surgery to repair the present hernia. However, until then, these briefs are my saviour!! THANKYOU

I believe the item is not as stated on the website, and is too small, so I purchased 2 sizes larger, as this is supposedly already one size larger. this item is too small as is the second purchase or this product. defective item. plus no refund no return policy.

This product did not work at all. Had a lot of problems with it so far. Would like to have a regular hernia belt in replace.
