Slackline Industries Base Line 50ft

This is a great slackline. I got it as a newbie having never set foot on a line before and the setup was super easy. The tree covers that come with it are pretty small and I had to buy XL ones in addition to make it around the trees at my local park (on occasion having to use new and old ones just to get a full wrap). The reason I give the 4 stars and not 5 is kindof a serious one...after the first couple uses I noticed that the line was actually bonding to the black loop that sinches it around the tree. I had to cut a cloth to put in between the line and loop so they wouldnt bond and fray my line, and that works fine. But it would seriously compromise the line had I not added the cloth.

By reading the description and the comments and reviews, I was a little dismayed that the box did not contain the tree protectors or the DVD. I think the description needs to be better written if this is indeed the case. There is another product by the same company that is the same price, same length, and comes with everything. Not sure why this one doesn't. The main product itself appears very good so far. Tricky getting balanced on it.

Yes, you've played on a slackline before. You can walk a few steps. But you want to get better, right?Just buy it. Use it.Take it camping, picnicking, on vacations. You will get better, and its hours of fun for you and your friends. And everyone who walks by gets curious. Such a simple contraption, but so much fun.

I like this product, it's solid, sturdy and fun, but surprisingly difficult. Don't get frustrated, it takes a while to get used to it.Have fun with it. : )We played with this last summer. Love the construction felt like it held tight, just surprised by how hard it was to balance....

After a long day of shreddin gnar in the surf, it's most excellent to come home and find balance on the slackline, brah. Practice ten to fifteen minutes, twice a day and you'll be delighted by your progress and confidence walking on flat ground. Soon you'll be jump mounting and doing effortless 180 turns.

Fun, but could be tricky and dangerous.

I just gave my 16 year old grandson the slackline today for his birthday and it is already tearing after three hours of use. He only weighs 140 pounds. I expected a lot more from this. He loved the slackline, but I think I should be refunded my money or the company should send me a new one that will last longer than one day.

I was impossible to take the slack line down. The ratchet kept getting stuck, I thought I was going to have to cut it down. I went to the company website for help, but none of their help videos are up and running.

My kids love their slack line. Sometimes I find them out there hanging off it like sloths, but at least they're outside!

Really impressed with the webbing and build, can't beat the price. Bought as a gift, only thing that I could see needing improvement is the ratchet mechanism is a bit stiff compared to my Gibbon. Again, can't beat the product for that price.
