Excellent Comfort and fit
I have tried many different brands of sock, some are small for the stated size, some shrink badly after just a few washes and some are very poor quality for the price paid.My feet are sensitive to rough finishes and with most socks the seam on the foot causes problems and I need to wear them turned inside-out. I also have wide feet and most brands are uncomfortably tight.I have size 10 - 11 feet, so ordered size 12 - 16 to make sure. The Gold Toe are perfect - no rough seam, wide enough (but stay pulled up) and fit well with a slight extra length to the toe (adds to the comfort).I will be ordering more and would highly recommend these to anyone. Best socks I've bought to date!

great socks
I have been wearing Gold Toe socks for 20 years or so, great socks, but it does seem like the price is going up, and the quality is slightly going down. the Gray socks seem to last longer than the white.

Great Quality and Fits as Expected
It's hard to find good quality socks these days. Years ago, I used to wear all-grey socks that I believe were from Fruit of the Loom. Of course, over time, the band at the top of the socks stretched out, until eventually the socks kept falling down and I had to get rid of them. After that, I purchased some navy blue cotton socks at the store that were supposed to provide extra warmth during the winter. Unfortunately, not only did they have the exact same problem with constantly falling down to my ankles, but for the first several months of using them, my feet kept getting blue pieces of cotton stuck to them whenever I took the socks off. After doing some research online checking out reviews of different brands, my decision came down to one of three choices -- going back to Fruit of the Loom, or trying out Hanes or Gold Toe. The Hanes socks were the cheapest, but I didn't like how the company imprinted the word "Hanes" on the bottoms of all their socks in big red writing. The Fruit of the Loom socks were my next choice and about $10 cheaper than Gold Toe, but after reading so many reviews about their quality having gone down so significantly over the years, I decided against purchasing them. So that left me with just Gold Toe.Now keep in mind, I'm not the type of person to spend $26 on only 6 pairs of socks, which is why I was a bit hesitant to go with the Gold Toe brand in the first place, which seems to be the most expensive of all the various brands out there. Nevertheless, I decided to give them a try anyway. So far, I've been using these Gold Toe socks for a little over a month and I'm glad I spent the extra money on them. Originally, I thought that crew-length was going to be way too short, so I was trying to find something a little bit longer, but it ended up being just the right size. It goes up about halfway to my kneecap and it's the same height as the old Fruit of the Loom socks I used to get in the past. When I first took the Gold Toe socks out of the packaging, they seemed a little bit small to get my feet into, but now after using them for a bit, they've stretched out to the perfect fit.I don't know how well these socks will last over time, especially with regards to the elastic bands at the top which prevent them from falling down, but so far, I'm very impressed and satisfied. If the socks are still holding up this well a year or two down the road, then I think Gold Toe will be my new go-to brand. It's a shame though that they don't have a greater presence in retail stores. I couldn't find them in any of the stores around here, which is why I had to get them from Amazon.

Perfect fit!
I'm 6'7"" tall and I wear size 16 shoes. It's hard to find clothes that fit well. These socks fit GREAT! They feel good and the previous ones I've had held up well. I will definitely be getting more in the future.

Socks that fit!
I take a size 13 shoe. Finding socks that fit has been a nightmare. Anything that says 12-15, all WAY too small. Either strangles my foot or kills my leg. Who thinks socks like this actually fits a person of said size? If I actually had a 15 size foot I'd never get them on. Anyway, I tried the gold toe since it said 12-16. Perfect fit. Just enough looseness in the foot and not tight on the leg, just right. Still, if I had a size 16 foot these wouldn't fit either but they do the job. Will get more.
