A lovely set, feels good and makes a noise worthy of it's quality! In fact so good, I have just bought another.

If you enjoy the game of backgammon, and I do, it’s important to play with a set that reflects your enjoyment. I love the feel and look of this luxury set. It’s great value for money, although possibly a little big for travelling with. 😊

Contrary to some of the reviews on here, I think this is a lovely, quality set. The board is well put together and the touches such as the leather shakers are appreciated. My only tiny complaints are that the dark wood is a fraction too light in places, the pieces are slightly slippy during play and the set was quite pricey (though, notably, substantially cheaper than other sets of comparable specification). I can see that this will get plenty of use through the generations in my family and, despite the above niggles, I am very happy with my purchase. It was bought for Christmas and has already been well used. I came back to buy another for a gift only to find that the product is no longer available and there is no indication of whether it will become available in the future. What a shame. This set would make a fantastic gift for anyone who enjoys these more traditional, timeless games.

I bought this as a gift for my best friend. She loved it and the pieces were of good quality.The board is made like a suitcase so is easy to transport.My best friend is vegan, and I was struggling to find a Backgammon game set that did not have leather. I was really pleased (as so was my friend) that the board did have the dice cups and was not leather and in fact vegan.I cannot comment on the value for money as I have not seen my best friend or played with the board since I bought it for her.

Lovely wooden set. Craftsman made. Perfect size. Has a bag for all the counters and everything is tidy and the box clips shut. One negative might be that the wooden counters are very lightweight and slippery to hold so may be tricky for less than nimble players. The counters are white and brown wood. I love it

Strange is how I can describe our experience with the set. The presentation is excellent with box and wrapper of high quality however we were one counter missing and two white inlays on the board missing. It seems we have been sent a faulty set, the quality assurance process must be very poor and should be reviewed, very disappointing for such an expensive set.Initially we gave poor feedback due to the above problem, however this has been resolved in an excellent manner by customer services for which we have given 5 stars.

Large 15 inch size for play in well made wooden case.

Well made but difficult to play a game on. Counters and board are both smooth. If you knock a counter during play it can go sliding over the board, then you have to remember where the counters were

Neuware bekommen, welche ordentlich versiegelt, sehr gut verpackt und in der Qualität meinen Erwartungen im vollem Umfang entspricht. Das Brett, die Becher, die Steine, die Würfel und auch der gesamte Eindruck sind vom feinsten. Ich habe keinen Mangel gefunden und bin erstaunt über diese Qualität. Ausschlaggebend für den Kauf dieses Sets waren die Fächer für die Steine, wo man nach dem rauswürfeln sie ordentlich und der Reihe nach reinlegen kann. Außerdem wollte ich Steine aus Holz. Besonders gut finde ich auch, dass 2 Würfelbecher mit jeweils zwei schwarzen und zwei weißen Steinen enthalten sind. Heute habe ich schon mit einem Familienmitglied gespielt und bin begeistert von der Lieferung, dem was geliefert wurde und dem gesamten Inhalt. Einfach klasse.

Un juego de Backgammon de buen tamaño y muy bonito por las incrustaciones de madera. Tiene muy buenos remates. Solo le pongo un pero, y es que como la caja es de madera y tiene dos bisagras hay que ponerle un tapete debajo para que las bisagras no arañen la mesa. Por lo demás, todo genial. Las fichas son de madera, parecen cortadas de un tronquito porque se ven los anillos. Precioso.

Wir sind mit der Qualität des Spiels absolut zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung ist top und weist nahezu keine Mängel auf, die Verpackung ist hervorragend. Die schlichte, aber echte Holzintarsienarbeit hebt sich wohltuend von den vielen Angeboten mit verspielten, aber lediglich folienbedruckten und klarlackbehandelten Spielen im "Orient-Intarsienlook" ab, und das zum nahezu gleichen Preis. Wer Interesse am Backgammon-Spiel auf einem qualitativ hochwertigen Spielbrett hat, für den ist das Produkt eine echte Empfehlung!
