Great taste and easy to make
I was initially disappointed to see that these were not grains but a starter cukture. But later I realized it is far more convenient for a beginner and an irregular user like me. I made my very first batch of milk kefir and absolutely loved the taste. I wasn't too sure of what to expect and when to know if it's done as it looks kind of curdled and not like curd. The online customer support was very helpful. Let's see how the subsequent batches turn out. I'm looking forward to making kefir milk a part of my daily food routine.

Was confused after use but now I know better
27 June 20: It has been a while since I bought it. Rs. 600 for 5 x 5 = 25 kefirs makes for a very costly kefir. Worse, if you make a mistake it become costlier. When the grains are available for lifetime, what is this product trying to achieve is pretty questionable. This is second product I bought from the same merchant, and although greek yoghurt was a great experience, this one has been very disappointing. For those really interested in Kefir, I will recommend going for kefir grains. 06 Jul 20: I called them today, after my 5th batch seemed to have not worked well. After talking to her, I've changed my opinion. I had mistaken a proper kefir for a kefir gone bad. I have corrected the rating. I guess, I will read more and experience kefir getting set more and thereby learn what's good kefir and what's not so good. I will recommend patience and improving understanding to anyone who tries kefir for the first time. Unfortunately, we transfer our understanding from experience with curd; kefir is very different.
