This is a great value product. My father, who is disabled, had managed to drive his car into a parking bollard, resulting in several large dents in the side of the passenger dot and near side front wing. He leases his car through a mobility scheme, and therefore would be charged the cost of repair when the lease comes to an end. I’m not saying that the form that would do the repairs would take advantage and charge an arm and a leg for repairing this, but I didn’t want to have to take that chance. It will need some paintwork done anyway, so I wasn’t too worried about anything like that. The key thing was to try and get the body panels as close to original as possible.So, on to this product. I have seen Edd China on Wheeler Dealers use one of these when he was repairing some body work on one of their cars. Didn’t look too difficult, so I thought I would give it a go. Upon looking around the internet, and Amazon, for a slide hammer body repair kit I realised that there was a huge range, both in price and function. What I was looking for was something that didn’t cost too much money, but equally would do the job that I needed. This product fitted the bill perfectly. I am very happy with the kit, it is fairly basic, however it does exactly what I need. The only thing missing from it is a glue gun. Fortunately I knew somebody that and one and managed to borrow one for a short time. For anybody else buying this kit, it should be noted that a glue gun is an essential part and you will need to source one from somewhere.I also found that by using the right glue, I have been able to save and reuse the plastic tabs that need glueing to the body of the car.In short, they good quality product for the price. Perfect for my needs.

I was really impressed with this.it works really well.The slide hammer is well built and nicely weighted so you get good force when pulling out the dent.What set's this up above from some of the others is that you get a good selection of dent removal pads especially the large one's which makes the job easier and quicker along with good instructions and other accessories.If you have any issues removing the pads off the bodywork and getting glue off them I suggest trying pouring cold water on the pad before removal which seems to help then running the pad under the tap to remove the glue .

07-03-2020One small thing this product does not come with a glue gun you will need to purchase one separately.You will also need to purchase some alcohol for use with glue release as only a small empty spray bottle is included.So if your expecting to fix a dent on the day of delivery make sure you have a glue gun and alcohol handy.I also need to research if the plastic puller pads supplied will work with cold glue.I have not been able to test this product yet as I foolishly thought it came with a glue gun, Isopropyl alcohol I already had.But my product did arrive promptly and everything was intact no faults or missing components.

After wrapping PTFE around all the threads it no longer rattles itself to bits every time it's used. The little plastic lugs seem strong enough and I managed to pull out about 5 dents.

Do not buy totally rubbish doesn’t work even with the glue u recommend might work in my grandsons toy car that is plastic but certified on a metal panel small or medium or larger dents totally crap put in bin

Poor attachment accessories!Limited use.

This is spot on got a fair size dent out of my car after someone dented it in car park. Took a bit of time and needs a little bit more work when the weather's nice but I'm so impressed with this. Make sure you buy a good glue gun and glue. I bought a cheap one but it just didn't do it. So went to screwfix and got a bosch one and some loctite glue for it. I found put loads of glue on the bad and place it on the dent push as hard as you can to ensure you have good contact. Then wait 15 seconds and start pulling. I found that if you let the glue harden for too long it become brittle and doesn't hold well. Best time to do it is while the glue is drying and has some give to it. Be aware the little pads that came with this don't reallt hold onto the bodywork very well. The bigger ones where holding great. And are often hard to get off. But a bit of alcohol to soften the bond and let it set for 30 seconds and a few slides with the hammer and it's off. Buy this absolutely worth the money. I thought its a bit expensive for what it is but it works perfectly.The photo below shows what the dent was like before.
