The headphones have good sound for the price and feel nice to wear
The headphones have good sound for the price and feel nice to wear. This is my second pair, the first pair failed after 12 months with sound loss to one ear. However I liked the product enough to buy the new version. After 7 months the new pair lost sound to one ear and sometimes both ears so I asked the manufacturer if they could replace them under 12 month limited warranty, the headphones were not mistreated or ever worn outdoors. They refused to replace them and said the fault was due normal wear and tear and I had had several months use out of them, they were not very helpful at all.Amazon however were fantastic in dealing with my problem and replaced the headphones free of charge with next day delivery. These headphones are good value and offer a decent sound for the price but they seem to have reliability issues. The manufacturers customer service is not the best in my experience either.

At last, a subtle, well made pair of over-ear headphones.
I've always been a die-hard user of in-ear headphones. Something like 20 years of having little things stuck in my ears pumping out varying qualities of music to my ears. Pair after pair - they have all broken. Whether they cost £2 or £80, I've been lucky to get more than 8 months out of any of them. I've been toying with the idea of trying over-ear headphones for a long time. A few years ago it was odd to see anyone wearing them on the commute ... then overnight everyone was wearing them.So I've hunted and deliberated for a long time, and these Urbanears have ticked lots of boxes.+ They are subtle, refined, classy looking. Not massive logos, no bling. Understated fabric finish. They are quietly cool.+ They aren't too big+ They are comfortable, yet they clam on enough so that they don't fall off your head.+ The cord feels chunky and resilient - and it's REPLACEABLE.+ They've got a microphone and small remote for calls and pausing.+ They fold up quite nicely+ They don't feel like they are going to break anytime soon.+ They block out about the right amount of external sound so you can immerse yourself in music/podcasts without being completely disconnected from the real world.+ Sound, in general, is good enough.+ I paid £26 which feels like very good value. There are a couple of niggles- Not having a volume control on the remote just seems a bit daft.- I grow up listening to tapes of tapes of tapes. I am not an audiophile, any music without a hiss that drowns out the music is a plus point ... having said that these aren't as good as a lot of the earphones I've had in the past. They are FINE, there's bass, everything is clear and way more than acceptable - but they aren't earth shattering.Overall I have been extremely pleased with them. I'm hoping they will last me long enough before the inevitable upgrade to wireless becomes unavoidable.

Comfy, stylish headphones for casual listening
These are some fine looking headphones with handy controls, a usb cable, and an extra plug for a friend to plug in their own earphones. They feel well made and are matte so they don't look like cheap plastic. They're VERY comfortable and don't press too tightly on your head, plus there's a space between the ear cushion and the band so it won't press your glasses against your head.Sound is very clear and with subtle bass. Wish it had a bit more bass but it's still great for casual listening. The control knob is the best thing about it. It's like a gaming joystick that you can press or push up/down/left/right for different actions. HUGE improvement over fumbling your way across multiple buttons.Packaging is also very clean. Wouldn't expect less from a Swedish company. Overall pretty happy with this. I wanted the red ones but they seemed more orange than red, and the grey ones are pretty dark. Still, they look good and fit nicely. Got these for £50 and so far they're worth it.

A big improvement over the original (particularly if you wear glasses)
I purchased these at a reduced price as a warehouse deal. The colour of these is intense and just as pictured and the minimal branding looks good. The foldable aspect is incredibly convenient, these take up a lot less space than other pairs, though the folding itself can be a little tricky the first couple of times. These are a definite improvement on the original Plattan headphones, which I purchased but had to return. The original ones felt somewhat akin to putting your head in a vice which was made worse by wearing glasses. These are much better - they have enough tension to stay on comfortably, but it's nowhere near as hard now. I can wear these comfortably with glasses for several hours. The replaceable cable is a huge bonus as this is usually what gets damaged and ruins headphones. The convenience of being able to switch sides for the cable and/or connect a second pair to share audio with a friend is useful. Spare cables can be bought directly from UrbanEars but I've been unable to find them on Amazon. If you aren't bothered about having a matching cable, any 3.5mm cable will do.

Bluetooth Nonexistent
These will be getting returned straight away. They can’t even connect to my iPhone 7. Tried connecting them to my wife’s phone too but no luck. Literally had them resting on my phone and they can’t even link. Phone has latest software and tried turning everything off and on again, blah blah. Don’t waste your money.

Bluetooth didn't work...
I don't usually write reviews, but feel I should after my experience of buying these headphones. These look amazing, and are really comfortable, but I couldn't get the bluetooth to work. Myself & my partner tried using both our phones and a laptop. We also tried in different rooms to ensure there was no other intereference, and went on the Urbanears website to follow their advice, but still couldn't connect. I'm really disappointed, but even if we had managed to connnect in the end, I'd be worried if whether on a busy morning commute they would retain connection with the amount of other devices around. I may have just been very unlucky and received a faulty set (which could be the case as it seems a lot of other people love them), however unfortunately I'm not willing to take the risk and buy another pair.
