Donna Bella Hair Tinsel, Pink, 50 Count

Going this route to get hair tinsel was way cheaper than going to the salon to have it done as I had done the year before. The package also had a link to an online tutorial with a video showing how to correctly put in the strings. A friend and I did each other's hair and had to redo them a couple days later only because they started falling out- you pretty much need a small dab of super glue to keep these in place after tying/knotting them to your hair. That is what the salon did when we had them done previously. Good range of colors in this pack. We had plenty to put in for Christmas colors and the rest I brought with to a holiday gathering and put them in my nieces' and sisters-in-law's hair for a fun New Years look. The only down side to ordering on Amazon is that I paid $10 for the product and another $5 for shipping (for a very light item). I'm told you can also buy these in Sally stores. Overall holding up well though 3 weeks after putting them in.

Hair tinsel is never something I thought would be super strong. This isnt going to shred or tear before getting them into the hair but I don't think they will quite last 4 weeks. putting them in alone is going to be nearly impossible unless you are really good at visualizing with your fingers. I was able to add a few while looking in a mirror but it is a ton easier to put it into someone elses hair. The color is not an exaggeration, it really is super vibrant and looks good in the hair. Its super reflective and youll end up with purple, pink, and blue sparkles when you look at it in the light.

I bought this specifically for a night out on New Years Eve. I love them so much. I have never gotten so many compliments on my hair. I would buy this over and over again. A little bit goes a long way!
