This is the first pair of wellies I have bought in a long time, think decades. I need them as I have signed up to a Wildlife Charity and the work involves a lot of going into ponds and streams.I wore these all day and my feet felt fine at the end. They were 100% waterproof but not "help, I'm stuck in mud" proof but I don't suppose any are.My usual shoe/ boot size is 11 but I deliberately chose a size 12 as I knew I would be wearing two pairs of socks as pond water is cold what ever time of year it is. The wellies fitted well and weren't too tight.The last really good thing about these wellies as opposed to others I have bought way back in the day is that these came with a good length of elastic holding them together so you can walk easily, the last ones I bought had a stupidly short bit of string tying them together so all I could do was shuffle about and fall over.Thoroughly recommend this boots.

The media could not be loaded. Update: leaked after 1st use. Were mostly ok in mud but both then leaked when the puddles got more watery again. Small holes somewhere in both near the toes. Also seam further up had a defect but that wasn’t where water got in. Pretty useless for wellies! The silicone wasn’t the problem (tho I didn’t get water up past the bottom section). Amazon did refund after first sending me to Lakeland Active. Very expensive to have so many faulty ones!These were the best of the three nearly identical boots I looked at buying. I've worn them a little and I'm happy :) It looks like I'll be able to horse ride in them as well as wearing in the yard/field. Mountain Warehouse 'mucker-womens-neoprene-long-boots' were a very similar fit but don't look as good quality (my husband bought the M.Warehouse ones, so time will tell!) I ordered the Northcape 'Women's Coniston Neoprene' boots but they were too narrow for me (foot still loose on the ancle but tight over the bridge), I didn't like the height of the rubber in those as my movement was more restricted, but in these lakeland ones I'm not restricted at all and they feel sturdy. In thin socks there's a little bit of wiggle room but not so that I'm uncomfy or going to slip/trip in the field, but in thicker socks they are perfect. I'll try to give an update after a winter of using these.

After catching my previous boots on some wire, they got torn, and were no longer waterproof. So I bought these, and tried them out today on a 2-hour dog walk in muddy ground and hard paths. One thing I liked was that the fit was snug. Although there is room to stuff my walking trousers inside, and to wear thick socks, they were not 'sloppy' on my legs or feet. The result was that my feet didn't move around inside them, something that has often happened in the past.They are nice and warm, and when tested by wading through the small local stream, they stayed warm inside, and didn't leak anywhere. The handy stub for pulling them off is a nice addition, and the thick soles provide good cushioning when walking over stones or gravel. I have withheld a fifth star purely because of the price. There are many very similar boots out there much cheaper to buy. I decided to pay more, in the hope that they will last longer. I will just have to hope that they last the coming winter season, and I have got what I paid for.I walk 2-3 hours a day, 7 days a week, and wear wellingtons for close to 8 months of the year. But I do not give them any 'industrial' use, so cannot comment how good they would be in that area. Overall, I am happy with them so far, and will update if they let me down.***Update. I had to buy a new pair this week, after catching these on some wire. They tore quite easily, and let in water immediately. But they are still good value, comfortable boots***

The boots have arrived and appear to be good quality come up slightly large but warm and comfortable

I like the grip under the boots - we are approaching wetter and wilder weather soon!Easy on, easy off! True to size. Recently had a stroke so needed something with more support for walking with the dogs.. though nothing brings back the loss of feeling in my foot, I can step out with confidence in these.. only using a stick on higher, uphill areas! That return of confidence was key for me! Looking forward to many happy walks no matter the weather now! Thank you..

Whilst these were comfortable to wear and keep your feet warm, they seem to be weak on the strength of the sole.Used for walking the dog mainly, but used in the garden, now holes have appeared in the soles.

Die Stiefel sind sehr bequem zu tragen. Der Schaft passt auch bei kräftigen Waden. Sehr elastisch. Würde die Stiefel wieder kaufen. Sehr zu empfehlen

Dieser Stiefel ist super! Ich habe den ganzen Winter bei den Pferden keine kalten Füße gehabt. Der Stiefel ist absolut dicht und hält die Füße in Bewegung warm, auch zwei - drei Stunden bei Minusgraden. Den anderen Bewertungen gefolgt, habe ich den Stiefel eine Nummer größer bestellt. Das ist als Frau echt eine Herausforderung, wenn man eh schon so große Füße hat. Aber er hat super gepasst und den Pferden war egal, dass es etwas klobig aussieht (wegen der Größe halt). Aber in erster Linie soll er ja warm und dicht halten. Das Obermaterial am Schaft wirkte dann optisch wiederum ausgleichend, sah halt etwas chicker, aus, sofern das bei einem Gummistiefel eben geht. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.
