The install was very easy, comes with a CD install which did not take very long, with clear instructions. After the install there will be a notification on screen to install the adapter and your set. This little thing save my life. I booted windows on my laptop, and the WiFi was completely gone. I tried everything, 3-4 hours of resetting network, installing different drivers, etc. nothing worked. I knew looking into my device manager, that some drivers were corrupted, but I had no way to unsafe those drivers without an internet connection. So I thought, why not just by a standalone WiFi adaptor, and try gaining internet this way. Prime luckily had same day delivery, and I was able to get this delivered 3 hours later. Plug this bad boy in, and thank god, I had the WiFi option appear. I used the internet to update all my corrupted drivers, did a fresh restart, and now I have my original WiFi working again due to the updates. Although I no longer need this adaptor, I’ll be keeping it around for dark times like today! Highly recommend this item to anyone who just seem to can’t get thier WiFi to work.

So far, so good! After the wifi controller on my desktop started to go out, I was barely getting a bar if I could connect at all, so I had to look for an alternative. I'll admit I wasn't really expecting much out of a 10 dollar wifi adapter but this thing really exceeded my expectations. The wifi quality seems very good with the signal strength being max or one bar less than max. I haven't seen it go below that yet. It's simple to install, you just plug in the usb, go to the website on the booklet if you don't have a CD drive to download it and install the utility. I did have to do one additional step on Windows 11 which was clicking on the wifi menu and changing it to the new menu. No issues so far.
