Ibywind Screen Protector for OnePlus 6,Premium 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protectors with Easy Install Kit-Transparent

This protector fits my phone perfectly. Installation was easy, first time around I messed up using the blue stencil tool but 2nd time was a charm.It's hard to describe but the glass *feels* smooth when swiping etc. I think it has an 'oleophobic coating' as it doesn't show fingerprints much and feels very smooth and high quality..Now that I don't feel the tiny scratches on my phone screen it feels like a new phone! I would recommend this to anyone.The glass is quite thick, but hopefully this means it is durable. I think this might've made reflections slightly worse but only slightly, a small price to pay.

I've been refraining from replacing the factory-applied screen protector on my OnePlus 6 for 2.5 years now, because I always find them hard to apply and imperfections on the screen really stand out to me. But my previous screen protector had got really worn out, so it was time to switch it out .I was impressed by how easy the application procedure was. This protector comes with a plastic frame (see pictures) that fits tightly over the phone and has guides to put the screen protector in place, and the procedure it clearly described. I found it really easy to align the protector to the screen using the guides, and it fell into place perfectly. I use my phone with the factory-provided case, and this screen protector fits underneath it without issue (see picture).Now, the reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't stick to the sides of the phone perfectly. It initially appeared that it had stuck, but after a few days of usage a small layer of air appeared around the edge of the screen. I understand that this is because of how the phone's display is curved and that this is a problem with most screen protectors available, but you should be aware of what you're purchasing.

I've been using the protector for a couple of weeks now and it's mostly great. Before this I'd only used the standard plastic screen protector that came with my OnePlus 6 from new, which lasted really well for about 18mths. This is my first glass screen protector, and I'm pleased with it. It was easy to install, using the plastic guide. I had to use the microfibre cloth to wipe away a couple of small bubbles that were trapped, but now it is perfect with no bubbles under the screen or around the edge at all. The glass feels very smooth and cleans easily, but I'm not sure if it has an oleophobic coating, as it still attracts fingerprints fairly easily. (It's still 100% better than the old one though)One annoying thing is that the black border obscures the screen slightly, which is noticeable when viewing photos. Also, the cutouts for the camera and speaker on the front can gather dust, just something to be mindful of. I use an official OnePlus 'carbon fibre' case, and the screen protector fits and works well with it. Overall I would recommend this.

Edit:Like it says below, the provided gel didn't fix the air gap around the edges. At least not immediatly. I'm not sure if it was due to giving it more time or the heat letting it flow more easily, after accidently leaving the phone on charge overnight under a pillow making it very warm by the morning, nearly all of the air under the screen dissappeared. The small amount that was left, I was able to get out by pushing on it with my fingernail.New score, 5/5. Thanks to the application tool the glass is perfectly centered and it now has no air gap. It's only a shame it took me both protectors and a whole night to figure this out. Would buy againOriginal:Application is, with their tool that goes around the phone, easy. A wet wipe, a dry wipe and even a large sticker to get any dust of the screen is provided.The problem is that it doesn't stick on the edges. They call it a "white edge". There is a dedicated section on their instuctions telling you to use their "vegetable oil" based gel around the edges and that should do the trick. It doesn't. It makes it smaller, sure, but it doesnt get rid of it. Since there were 2 protectors in the pack, i tried twice but both attempts left a gap. And no, trying to use your fingernail, credit card or pressign with a cloth to squeeze out the air doesnt fix it, before ot after using the gel.It does seem fairly durable, however. Couldn't scratch it with a key and trying to smash the protector I've already taken off by putting it on my bed and wacking it with something hard did break it but it took some force behind it.It also easily fit with the silcone case that came with my oneplus 6 so thats a plus.Overall, 3/5. If the air stuck around the ages doesn't bother you then it's decent enough but gap will be visible when the phone is locked

It's extremely difficult to find good quality screen protectors for the OnePlus 6, especially because it isn't as mainstream as an iPhone for example. I read some reviews for limited range of screen protectors on Amazon and finally landed on this one.Packaging: very clean, minimal and easy to open.Contents: 2 screen protectors, back protector (handy and and nice surprise, but not the best looking and significantly more difficult to apply due to stickiness), 2 cleaning kits, guiding tool.Ease of use: Good, detailed instructions for applying the screen protector, both with and without the guiding tool (which is excellent and recommended).Quality: Excellent packaging and cleaning equipment. These screen protectors are some of the best I've had for any phone. Sturdy, covers the whole screen, including bezels and feels extremely smooth to touch, scroll and swipe!Overall, extremely pleased I went with these. I have had the original screen protector on since I bought the phone and these are miles better!!

Die Schutzfolie ging sehr leicht aufzuziehen. Sehr viel Zubehör um den Bildschirm sauber zu machen war in begriffen.Hab aber nur das kleine Mikrofasertuch was mitgeliefert wurde benutzt um den Bildschirm richtig sauber zu machen.Die Folie ging dann sehr leicht auf den Bildschirm zu platzieren. Beim ersten draufsetzen waren ein paar kleine Luftlöcher da, am oberen Rand, aber dann hab ich die Folie oben nochmal angehoben und dann gingen auch die letzten Luftlöcher weg.Die Schutzfolie sitzt jetzt sehr gut auf dem Bildschirm.Sollte sich was ändern, werde ich die Rezension aktualisieren, aber als erster Eindruck, wirklich gute Folie, die perfekt auf mein OnePlus 6 passt.

I haven't really tried it out yet as far as dropping the phone to see how it holds up, but so far this is the best looking/fitting screen protector I've had for this phone. Just make sure to follow the instructions on how to remove the white edges with the oil. Installation is easy. The entire screen is clear, allowing full visibility of the working screen surface, unlike the ones with the annoying black edges. Also, with that extra oil trick, there is no annoying awkward rainbow edge that I've noticed. I've had other clear protectors that went exactly to the screen edge and had to be exactly in the center with no wiggle room - this one is actually just a hair larger than the visible screen area for the edges, so screen visibility is perfect! The surface itself looks to be high quality and feels smooth to the touch.Better than Orzly and Sparin in my opinion.Note: I didn't seem to get the extra black case it claims to come with that's shown in all the photos.
