Is it affective at clearing algae from the bottom of the pool?

This item is used to get the grit and bits of the bottom. I doubt it will clean algae. Though I do suggest using algecide and clearifier to minimise algae along side chlorine on a regular basis. Hope this helps

You may have connected them up wrong if you can connect them they should all slot together by the little lugs some are stiff may need a little pushing down hard.

If your water pressure was very strong I believe it would, but only small ones. Nothing too big

If you take the bit off the end it comes with a hose lock connection will work.. that’s what I did
