Tamiya 58564 1/10 Toyota Land Cruiser 40 CC-01 Black 4WD Kit

Every year I get one Tamiya model for my husband collection for the holidays, this was up in his list for a few years but I was unable to afford it until now. Everything that my husband expected, this particular kit does come painted in Black, details are amazing, nice addition to his growing collection. Thank you.

This is my scale model crawler for trailing. I also have the CR01 Landcruiser for more serious crawling.I like how this kit has more of an urban suv type styling vs the typical off road theme you find everywhere else. The kit comes with the fashionable metal plated gunmetal wheels and chrome accents for the upscale look. It also included the lighting kit, so I bought 2 receiver sensor control switch harnesses to wire up the white LED to the headlights to run on/off on ch3, and to mix the rear red LED lamps on ch4 with brake so that it only lights up while braking. Gives it a nice realistic touch.The receiver control harness can be bought from Amazon, search Turnigy receiver control switch.If you have old servo's you can take them apart to make something similar too and trigger them from your radio on ch3 and 4 given that you have a 4ch radio. I run my Spektrum DX4S on this chassis with SR410 receiver.The truck has a large turn radius in stock form. so I trimmed the knuckle's plastic a little bit to give it more steering travel, added front universal axles (not really needed, just use o-rings in the drive cup coming out of the gearbox in the front if you use dogbones to prevent the bones from popping out at max steering angle), and using a high torque servo Spektrum S6040 with Tamiya's High Torque Servo Saver all available here on Amazon.I run an Atomic 35turn motor in this truck, but it is still too fast for realistic driving. So I hope to have my 55 turn soon.

Can someone tell me what all to get with this crawler?it is the first one I have ever gotten so I have no ideas what all I need to to drive it. And also will the fj60 Brown land cruiser body fit on it? Thank u for Ur time.

Looks fabulous, and out son is having it for xmas so, i will update the comment then once its been used, but the build quality is very high.

No comprar. Los hay mucho mejores. Muy decepcionado. Dos usos y tuercas perdidas. No son autoblocantes. La carroceria no esta bien sujeta y el sistema de enganche de la misna al chasis es tediosa.

Bon produit réalise malheureusement je ne mets que 2 étoiles car la description du produit est fausse .En effet il manque pour que celui-ci fonctionne : 1 servo de direction et 1 récepteur ! Acheté par la suite au détail le prix de reviens n'est plus du tout le même .Merci à l'équipe de bien prendre le temps d'analyser le contenu de vos produits avant de les mètres en ligne (c'était pourtant noter sur l'emballage la liste des produits pour le faire fonctionner)Sinon le délai et emballage nickel comme à son habitudeMerci
