It really was fairly easy to put together! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. My husband and I assembled it in about 3 hours!

The information stated that it was "weather resistant", but yes, we definitely treated it with weather proof paint. This swing is really made sturdy and not too much of a hassle to put together! My husband and I put it together in about 3 hours! Really happy with it!
