Easy to install - just make sure you have your tools on hand.
Before you buy it first check out Youtube video. " 2005-2006 Toyota Tundra Sequoia Performance Cold Air Intake Filter Kit K&N 57-9027 Installation " There are a few things besides' unbolting oldand bolting in new'. You can follow along with the provided directions which are decent and have a lot of pictures. Took 45 minutes by myself. Saw where is recommends allowing 90 minutes...There is a step where you'll need to drill out a rivet in order to cut some plastic out of the way of the new air filter. Directions recommend tin snips. You could do it with hack saw, jig saw, or grinder with cutting disc. The material is to thick for Dremel or utility knife. After you've drilled out rivet, make your cuts I would go ahead and install a new rivet. Instructions don't mention that at all. One of the last steps is to bolt on the existing bracket to new pipe using original bolt. I flipped the bracket 180 before bolting it back on. This helps keep the hose and the intake further away from the radiator fan. Also after the install is 'complete' you'll have an 'extra' plastic wire 'catch' on top of the airbox. It was used to hold the MAF sensor wiring in its original position. It is no longer needed. You can clean it up with grinder or Dremel. You can also scrape off the 'K&N' embossed on the new MAF cover plate while youre at it. The K&N on the new pipe actually telegraphs into the interior of the pipe so you cant grind that down. Another thing - while you have your drill out - you could remove the charcoal filter in the top section of the air box. Its there to prevent engine gasses from leaking out the intake when you shut the vehicle off. IT appears to restrict air flow further. Its held in place by 6 plastic nibs around the perimeter. They could be drilled out like the metal rivet.Wear latex/ntrile gloves. Being a 2006 vintage machine - unless you regularly clean under the hood - all the parts your'e working on will be dirty. Have fun!

Great kit
Easy install on my 2006 Tudra. Gained 4 mpg at 70 mph with 300 lbs of cargo on A 400 mile trip. A little better in town - 16.5 mpg. Every bit helps with current 2022 gas prices.

Great item
Easy install not cutting needed from other reviews I’ve seen. Was all installed in 45 min. I haven’t noticed any fuel savings but I haven’t driven much. But have noticed a bit more power.

Easy install, immediate results!
The intake arrived within 4~5 days. It was listed as used and that some re-packaging may be noticeable. Well it came in a K&N box all parts were accounted for and still in there original bags. Instructions were included as well as a print out of what should be expected of my vehicle (Toyota Sequoia '05).Install was painless and easy as I took my time, prob about an hour. I could easily install it more quickly on a 2nd go. I was satisfied and of course had to try it out immediately. Even leaving my neighborhood at 15 mph I noticed a difference in the sound and the responsiveness to the accelerator. I took my time getting to the highway to make sure everything was secure because it was dark while I finished the final tightening. As soon as I hit the on-ramp I mashed it and was pleasantly surprised. My SUV no longer sounded like it was starving for air it sounded like it actually had a V8 under the hood.I have no idea of mpg or actual hp difference at this point but I can really tell the difference and am please with my purchase.

Was very easy to install on my 2006 Toyota Tundra.
It looks cool and definitely added horsepower. Only thing I can hear it rumble when I press the accelerater

Great K&N cold air induction system for a 2006 Toyota Tundra Limited 4.7L engine.
The product arrived as expected and was very easy to install. The only complaint with the instructions is that it would be easier to read if they were in color. The large hose that went from the engine to the inlet pipe connected to the air filter was hard to attach to the inlet pipe. Took a lot of work to get it to go on. Nice sound when accelerating and looking forward to higher gas mileage when compared to the original air filter setup.
