I like the light options (three brightness settings) but I do ...
I purchased this to replace my stolen Urban 300. I like the light options (three brightness settings) but I do not like the way it is made this time. this one does not have a light to show me when it is fully charged so I just have to guess and hope it is fully charged. the cover to the power chord plug-in is plastic instead of rubbery and from simple general use, it broke off less than 3 months after purchase. I still use the loose piece to cover the plug-in but it is now very easy to lose or fall off. the light itself is very bright and very helpful when riding in the dark on a cloudy evening on my way home from work.

A solid light
This is the best light I've used in dark situations. I ride to work in early mornings and home when it's dark and this gives me the comfort of seeing what's around me more than any light before. It's expensive but I've dealt with the cheaper lights before and frankly they're borderline dangerous if you're biking in the pitch dark. If you're riding in day time and just need to stand out, you don't need a light like this however I think the pulsing or low setting would be sufficient if you want to use it for that. In terms of the pulse, it is far better than a strobe effect. If you use a strobe setting, stop - especially if you have a bright light and when it's dark, it blinds everyone else around you. Also, if you ride with this light on high, be considerate to other bikers and runners and partially cover it with your hand or use the awesome swivel feature to point it away as it also blinds people. There's been times when I had both hands on the brakes coming down hills and couldn't and could see the pain I was inflicting on fellow path users...and I felt bad so I thought I would pass it along. The other features I read about in other reviews: The securing strap. It's not your typical screw till tight. It's like a rubber belt. It takes a few times to get used to but overall it's much more efficient than the screw on. I think it gets more elastic-y the more you use it which makes it easier. When you stay up for MNF and have to be at work at 5 AM on Tuesday, it's very convenient. The battery life: Call me lazy but I don't seek out more than an hour bike rides when it's pitch dark out which is the only time you need the high level. However I understand those who might and I guess just get two lights and use one while the other one is charging - or get a different light. And in terms of charging, it only sucks when you forget...so don't forget - problem solved. The durability seems pretty good. I've had it for a few months and have rode in most conditions the sky can throw out me and haven't been let down yet.Simply put, I bike in an area that has pitch dark patches along with a path along a fairly busy road. In terms of biking in the dark in those conditions, this is an amazing light. If you have other needs for a light, I guess I can’t help you.

Wish the battery was replaceable.
Pro - Very bright light with good field of light.Cons - After two years of use the battery is holding enough charge to last only two hours on low. The USB cover also broke off after about 18 months.

Enough light to keep you at speed on a dark path
I have been searching for a bike light that was bright enough and yet didn't break the bank or require extra attachments just to make it work.I have gone through several different bike headlights trying to find 'the one' to handle all my needs. Some of the lights didn't last more than a few months and others just weren't giving me enough of a spread of light. These Urban lights are incredible. Not only do they brighten up the path when there are no lights but the little side lights actually do make a difference. When I first got the light I was skeptical about the side lights and how it would help, but now I can't imagine going riding without that little extra bit of light. It would be nice to have the battery last more than a couple hours, but I rarely use the light at 100% anyway.

Wouldn't recommend
Flash mode is not very bright, my Bontrager 700 lumens light has a much better daytime strobe. The battery life is poor and charge time is very long.

Pretty good yet overpriced
Overpriced and the battery could be better but honestly it does the job and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a light that is high quality.it definitely won't break anytime soon and I've used it a lot in the few days I've had it

I've got a number of front bike lights and each generation is an improvement over the last. This is an incredibly bright (claimed 800 lumens) headlight with amber side lights. Be careful with it - the reflection of the light in a window was painful. I'm not sure why it is called an urban light. Perhaps the beam is a bit wider? It holds a charge well. Even down one or two settings this light is still plenty bright. Probably the best part for me is that the light mount will fit on almost any kind of bike. I've had other Light & Motion lights and they have held up well.

Might be returning
Only lasts an hour on the high setting. The on/off button very difficult to use. Thinking about just returning because it just doesn't match the discription provided.
