CATIA V5 Design Fundamentals: A Step by Step Guide 1st Edition

Easy to follow step by step on using various basic commands necessary to do anything in CATIA. Best book I've found to explain how to use the various basic commands.

It has very good illustrations, and it is very useful for engineering design. It shows a step-by-step guide which has made my job more efficient.

Its Okay, certainly not the best as I have worked with other books. Not so easy to follow and lack of pictures does not help. Not user friendly, sorry to say.

A good starting point if you have little or no CAD experience. If you have experience on other software and are looking for a reference guide to refer to and to help you as you go however this is not the book for you in my opinion. The book takes you through step by step (as the title suggests) and whilst I am no CAD expert I found the pace is painstakingly slow for someone with any real previous CAD modelling knowledge. It is however very clear and concise and if you are after a beginners guide then this will serve you well.

Ottimo strumento di apprendimento per coloro che vogliono imparare a conoscere gli elementi fondamentali per l' appropriato uso di CATIA V5. Molto buona la parte relativa alla modellazione solida.
