Very quick service, arrived earlier than expected. Also part is an exact replacement piece on my B&D palm sander.

Works as required. Only issue is the holding clamps becomes unclipped and doesn't hold well till it is pushed into place

Fit perfectly

Fit my B&D quarter sheet sander perfectly. The wife had worn serious grooves in the original platen from rounding pine edges....well she’s done this to 8 sanders over the past couple of years but who’s keeping score. Quality is on par with original one, everything lined up perfectly. I knocked it down a star only because of the cost; it’s half the price of a new sander! I decided to give it a try because a few of the dead sanders looked almost new. I’d buy more if it’s for a good sander motor and body, but I still have a hard time paying this much for two ounces of plastic.

I didn't know how hard this would be to install when I ordered it. I wish it had come with replacement bolts but I had to use the existing bolts that were damaged due to a worn out platen. I had to recut the screwdriver slots (even thought they originally had hex/screwdriver heads) with a Dremel to remove the bolts and then had to reuse these bolts after smoothing them out. The platen fit and works as advertised but be aware existing bolts may have been damaged when the original platen wore out.

Fits like a glove. Exactly as it should bring an oem part. Simple bolt on and done. Wish the cheap knockoff wound fit though.
