Works like a charm
I have a 1/2 hp Genie Excelerator screw drive garage door opener (model # ISD 995) for about 5 years, and both of my remotes just stopped working all in a sudden. However the wall mounted control still works to open/close the garage door so I know it's not the motor. I called Genie and they suggested me to replace the circuit board but they weren't 100% sure that would fix the issue. I was a bit hesitant to spend money on something that may or may not work but I'm glad I did.I found the board here on Amazon and it's much cheaper than what Genie would charge so I ordered it (from the seller YouDoItStore) and it got to me in less than a week. It comes with a detailed step-by-step instruction (no picture though only a illustration of the opener). Like the other reviewer said replacing the board was pretty straight forward. You need to unplug the opener's power cord, open the plastic cover, remove the light bulbs, then you open the hard cover by removing the 4 long screws, the hard cover will just hang there by the wires that connect to the light bulb sockets. I have a ladder that was tall enough to catch the cover but you can just leave it hanging. There are just 2 boards, a flywheel, and the motor inside. The board is the horizontal one and you remove it by removing another 3 screws, then carefully slide it out of the place (be careful of the flywheel that's connected to the motor). The board is connect to the main board by a flex wire. Slide the new board into the same place and replace the screws. The key here is to make sure you don't disconnect any of the wires from the old board until you have the new board in place and secured, then remove the wire(s) from one terminal at a time from the old board and connect to the exact same terminal on the new board. I got it done by myself in about an hour and I'm not that handy. The most time consuming part for me was reconnecting all of the wires to the new board (I checked and double checked each wire before and after). After putting back everything and plugging in the power cord everything just worked. I had to re-adjust the open force and the closing force, also to re-train my 2 remotes but that's it.I'm a happy camper and my wife was impressed. I was going to spend $150 to buy a new opener (plus the installation) but I'm glad I tried this. It feels pretty good to fix something with your own 2 hands. Hopefully it will last me another 5 years, maybe longer.

It works sorta...
I have had this installed for about 2 months now and it occasinally malfunctions so I have to unplug the garage door and then everything works better. It seems to work good with the Genie Garage door opener buttons but occasionally when I use my homelink buttons in my truck I end up having the problem of it only partially opening the door and once this happens none of the openers seem to work right not even the one wired in at the wall. It works fine with the buttons in my Acura but not in my truck... Not sure the issue. It was cheap enough that for now I will just deal with it but it does get a bit fusterating sometimes.

replaced due to weak remote control
This unit was replaced since my remote opener only opened the garage door when I was two feet away from the opener motor. I though my remote battery was weak but still experienced the same problem after replacing the battery. I assumed the radio receiver was defective and purchased this replacement circuit board, which worked perfectly, now I can operate my garage door from a half block away. Easy 15 minute fix and cheaper than replacing the entire garage door opener, which one repair guy suggested.

It worked great
Although the product worked great. Upon opening I had found one of the plugs were broken at the clip. This did not hinder the operation of the control board, just made me wonder if it were due to shipping or packaging. That was the only issue, none of the circuitry was damaged and the product works perfect.

Worked for my ISD 1000
I needed to replace both the boards in my older Genie operator. I first replaced the motor control board but that would only cause the fuse to blow every time I pressed the door button. I bought this board so that both boards would be new. I think that the programming or circuitry has changed and the old sequencer was not compatible with the new motor control board I tried to replace first. The operator works perfectly now with both boards being new. I saved some money by not having to replace the whole set up. They don't make the 1000's anymore. If you plan on reviving an older operator like the 1000 save some time and just replace both boards at once.

It worked
* even though I requested 34019R the part that came was 36600R. The boards are compatible but different. It worked for me* My Genie opener is ISD990 and this is the second time this board stopped working* I first changed the sensors but now I am not sure if they needed to be changed* If not mistaken both times the board stopped working after a lightning fell close by (< 1 mile), Not sure if the antenna is causing this failure* I did not need to change the second motor board and also read that this sequencer board is the problematic one

Incompatible Despite Assurances To the Contrary
Didn't work with my old motor control card. Genie says it's compatible, but it wasn't. Note that the product you receive will not look like the board illustrated in the Amazon ad. It is a later model, and has compatibility issues with older excellerator units. I finally bought an original board on ebay for $25. It looked like my original board (and the picture in the Amazon ad), and it worked perfectly.
