Good for the money, but a bit of a pain to wash.
I do like this hairbrush so far. It's about the right stiffness for bristles and the size makes it surprisingly easy to brush a head of hair quickly. Although it continues to lose a few bristles regularly, it's holding up okay. I've only had it a few weeks, though. The only thing I really do NOT like about the brush is the difficulty of washing it. Because the spongy base for the bristles absorbs lots of soap and water, it takes extra effort to rinse. And the sponge base traps water underneath. To drain that water, I've taken to lifting the sponge section with a prying tool (screwdriver works). It's pretty easy then to shake all the water out, and blow-dry into the space to get it dry. (The manufacturer should've added holes in the wood backing or slots to make drainage easy. No one wants a moldy, smelly hairbrush.)

Seems like a good hair brush.
I needed a replacement for a very old (10+ years?) Goody padded 100% boar bristle hairbrush - and this looked like a good one.Construction is good. I was very spoiled because my old brush had soft bristles and these are extremely stiff. I am hopeful that over time it will also soften up.I have very long hair (below the waist) and it tends to break.Only two "cons" - the brush is shedding bristles each time I remove the hair from it, and it is difficult to remove the hair - I am going to have to try using a comb to comb it out. This will probably cause more bristle shedding.

Cheap, but good quality. Lost some bristles early on, but still holding up after six months.
Lost a few bristles in the first week; no big deal. I use it a few times a day, and five months in it is starting to show some wear. Might lose a few more bristles soon, but it's holding up just fine. Definitely gets the job done. Certainly cheap enough that I can easily replace it. Have never owned a hairbrush before, so I have nothing to compare this against, but other than the aforementioned, I have nothing really negative to say about it.

Nice brush ... smells a bit at first
I have very thick shoulder-length hair. I have no problem getting the brush through it. I enjoy the massaging sensation very much. The brush does have a bit of a "new car smell" but I'm hoping that wears off. I also notice that both my daughter and I have a lot of static in our hair after using these. Not sure if there's an easy solution for that.

Great Brush for LONG hair.
I read somewhere that a natural bristle brush is great for long hair when you skip washing. Which i just started to do due to my hair dryng out. I hate the gresey look my hair got. This brush it prefect!!! It did not pull my hair which others did and helps with moving the oils thought my hair. Its great!

Okay wooden handled brush with short plastic bristles. Good for thin hair.
Prob works better on people with thin hair. I have to brush my hair in layers with this brush bc the bristles are so short, which also means, I don't get a scalp massage that other reviewers are enjoying. the brush is well made; wooden handle feels good in the hand and the bristles stay on the brush. However, I was expecting natural bristles, not plastic ones.

Great Brush
I really love this brush. At first I thought it was to wide for my hair but I was pleasingly wrong. It feels good going through my hair and it doesn't pull it out.
