Great budget lock

The only negative thing could be the difficulty to get used to the locking mechanism. At first it makes you feel like locking mechanism is not working, but actually it works.

This lock didn’t last me over a month in rainy Oregon weather. I would say not so much all weather and more so non-weathering would be the best description of this lock. Locking mechanism ceased up not even a month after purchasing, overall not a recommended product.

In fairness, this lock is very affordable for what it is. If you are leaving your bike unattended overnight in an alley, this lock won't last through the night. The lock is flimsy, rattly and lose. It's hard to get it to lock because the tumblers flop around. But let's be honest here, it's $15 bucks! It has 2 keys, a frame mount and it works. Would I trust it for overnight or at a public bike rack for hours on end? I doubt it but, if you want to feel secure while stopping at the market, going to the farmers market, visiting a friend and if the bike is within view or in a very busy public spot, you will likely be alright. It definitely beats a cable lock and, if nothing else, use it as a 2nd lock for added peace of mind. The fact is, if a bike thief wants your bike, any lock is vulnerable. If you're on a budget and just need a lock,this one will be an option. The tumblers stick and flop around and sometimes it's difficult to get it to lock or unlock

It gets the job done, but it's made poorly. The keyhole spins making it frustrating to lock. Not made well.

I live in an extremely high theft area (with bike/scooter theft being the most common petty crime), so the police recommend I get a U-lock. I got two of them and haven't had any issues while other bikes and scooters keep disappearing.

il lucchetto si presenta robusto e di buona fattura. Forse la U poteva essere qualche centimetro più lunga per agganciare meglio il telaio a un'eventuale palo o ringhiera. Consiglio utilizzo unito a classico lucchetto a filo di acciao. Colpisce per il peso. Perfetto per la bici.

I found this lock heavier & stronger than the previous u lock i had. A few may find it a bit heavy, but i guess it's worth it considering our bikes nees to be safe.

Ich kann keine gute Rezension geben,weil das Schloss und der Schlüssel beim aufschließen und vor allem beim Abschließen,so sehr klemmt.Ich hab mir es besser gewünscht.
