Perfect replacement for a lost valve
Perfect replacement for a lost valve I purchased this steam release valve for my pressure cooker after my original one seemingly vanished into thin air. I’ve used it once so far, and it works perfectly. It pops right onto the valve stem with zero hassle, and it held pressure exactly as it should, allowing the cooker to do its job. I highly recommend this as a reliable, easy-to-install replacement.

Saved my Instant Pot!
Saved my Instant Pot Viva 6qt after I set the lid down on a hot burner and melted the original steam valve and handle. Just used the new one and worked great. Note that it’s not able to spin and stay open to vent but thats fine with me as I just let it decompress naturally or put a towel over it to manually vent.

I use my Instant Pot every day. How did I misplace the steam release valve? I ordered this one and I don't notice any differences from the valve that came with the pot. The original showed up and I couldn't tell you which is which. Happy to have a reliable spare.

Shiny plastic instead of matte
Works as should but the title says “original” and I don’t think is an actual InstantPot brand item. The plastic is more shiny as where everything else on my InstantPot is more matte finish. But it does what it’s supposed to do.
