Russian Step By Step Verbs of Motion: Workbook 1 (Volume 1)

I have gone through many exercise books and I can recommend this one as it really explains grammar with exercises. The topics are interesting and relevant and the group that I learn Russian with also find this book that has part 2 as well, very useful and interesting.

I love both volumes of this workbook and come back and redo the exercises often. Great for A1-B2 targeted verb of motion practice. Note there are no prefixed verbs, however it’s still excellent practice.

Looks good except for some typos like “м ы” which should be “мы”. No space between two letters.

This was a great book to learn Russian. I have taken about 12 classes so I am pretty much a complete beginner. I found that I already knew 80% of the vocab in this book which made the topics easier to learn. The exercises are clear and well written and the answer key is complete and even has an occasional explanation when an answer is not intuitive.

Just finished! Good modern use of language. It has really helped me to understand verbs of motion a lot better. Many many examples and exercises.

Very handy & more carry-able than large 500 verb type books. Splendid job of organizing concepts integral to correct verb usage.

The exercises are good, but there are a lot of typos, and some instructions to exercises are messed up. The book would benefit from careful proofreading.

Well thought-out guide covering the essentials of Russian motion verbs. Makes a sometimes complicated subject easy to understand and use in a grammatically correct fashion.

OMG, finally a book for idiots like me learning Russian, lots of practice, and drills into you all the motion verbs... this will certainly help me, as let's face it, the grammar is brutal.

I learnt Russian as a teenager in Grammar school.Remarkably I can read (and often pronounce).I feel sure this will be a great asset
