They work kinda
These are not sturdy enough to really hold on to anything once the water pressure is up and if the length of the hose is to extend. They do an ok job but you still have to remain close. I have a long hose and have several tanks over the house. So I like to be able to be by the faucet.

Useless
It does not hold the hose. The locking mechanism self-releases easily as soon as you just touch the hose.
