Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: NPC Codex Pocket Edition

So far I have bought several of these Pocket Edition books (Bestiary 2, 3, 4, and 5 as well as NPC Codex). The content is the same as the standard editions, but they are smaller paperback books (and cost about half the price). For me, the smaller size and cheaper price is excellent, especially since I am very careful with my books.The NPC Codex has a whole collection of NPCs, from level 1-20 for each of the base classes. There are also a good collection for each of the NPC classes and at least some of the Prestige Classes. While some of the NPC names and descriptions are bizarre and not something I would use in my games, the NPC stat blocks are all usable in one way or another.

This "codex is nearly cover to cover pre-made NPCs, which is extremely helpful when the players want to double-cross/seduce/intimidate the generic item dispenser you never bothered to stat up, or for when you need some characters for the tavern but you spent all your prep time preparing the player-slayer dragon waiting for them at the bottom of the generic goblin-and-troll dungeon and instead of actually going there the party decides to drink a cleric under the table. very useful would reccomend.also they have the "iconic" characters for each class (I.E. the picture in each core book class) which would make GREAT premades if a character bites the dust during the game and you need a fast and dirty replacement, or if you want something already mathed out for a new player to just pick up and play.

A totally random, overly cartoonish and sloppy collection of NPC concepts that only work in your typical non-creative kitchen sink campaign

Not only happy with the books, but they arrived a week ahead of the expected delivery date.

When I play my campaign. I'm the kind of guy who make's stuff on the sly, and that has been my style for years, but creating character's has been one of my flaws. But, this books really helps me a lot since I just get what I want and some minor tweeks and vuala'. I have good villains or enemies for my players!!!
