Freet Chukka

Firstly, these shoes felt like home as soon as I put them on - even with the orthotics I need to stop me falling over. I have spent a lot of time and money on finding product that works for my feet and although these are not what might be referred to as a fashion statement, they are smart / casual and go with chinos as well as my "walking" shorts. I am about to invest in the proper walking boots from Freet so will "speak" about them at a later date. However, everything about these chukkas is spot on for me. As everyone has different feet, nothing beats the personal opportunity to try and test run, however, if you want a slightly wider fit that allows your feet to spread, a good heal that supports the whole foot as it impacts the ground, a light and soft touch enveloping the whole foot and of course a sense of the terrain without feeling like Zola Budd (reference for the "older" reader!), then this is the brand for you. I cannot comment on the trainers or shoes but boot-wise these are great.

Size 8 I always wear is too small in this case. They are not even splash resistant. In light rain my feet get wet after few minutes. Foot slips to front of the shoe while walking. They need a lot of improvement.

I have wide feet. I'd tried some other brands but found that they had to be massively oversized in length in order to fit and sent them back.I wear these whenever I go out now and haven't had to wear a pair of socks since the beginning of lock down. Yay!

I made sure to use the advise on the Greet website and ordered a size above what I would normally wear. These look great, and I got them just in time to keep out the sudden deluge storm Callum is pouring on us. They're very warm, and definitely have kept the rain out. So happy.

Wear them all the time, so comfortable. Improved my posture.

I bought a size bigger than normal and find that the big toe on my right foot is touching the end however, this is not a problem. I still find them very comfortable.

I have only had 2 pairs of favorite shoes these and a pair of tactical combat boots I had when I was 10 those lasted me about 6+ years with daily use.I normally wear sandals because I hate "normal" shoes since I lost my combat boots and I was super happy to have found these I went a size up glad I did other wise it would be a bit snug I think next time I'll got another size up to give me a bit more room.I have replaced the laces with some elastic easy laces as I honestly hate having to tie and untie my shoes at this point. over all I have had these for about 8 months maybe they are not waterproof but they dry quickly.
