Terrible For Watercolor
When the little chart said it would be good for watercolors I got excited, I prefer the really smooth hot press paper over rougher cold press and have had decent luck painting on Canson Bristol paper so I thought I would give it a try because I really like the in and out setup of this paper.I have never been quite so frustrated by paper, it doesn't warp overly much so I will give it credit for that. I filled the entire notebook just out of bloody minded stubbornness and not wanting to waste the paper but man is it ever a headache to work with. You cannot blend or the paper will tear, you cannot really get a good wash because the paper sizing will just cause the paint to pool and bead up like you are painting on wax, granulating paints do not granulate, and if you make the mistake of needing to lift paint you can't. You end up either tearing the paper or the paint just stains. All my paintings ended up just so weird looking and I did not like the effect at all. This paper is great for inks and drawing, even painting with inks works pretty decently, alcohol markers take to it pretty well, but for watercolor? They really should change the rating because it just does not work and I would not have bought it.

My FAVORITE watercolor paper!!!
This is now my FAVORITE watercolor paper! I'm so excited to color on this paper - the paper has a nice thickness to it & the quality is amazing! It really is ooh so smooth!!!!!! I can stamp my images on the paper and cut them out with my Brother Scan N Cut with no problem at all, and it's a nice bright white watercolor paper which I LOVE using for my stamped images! I've purchased both sizes and they are wonderful... This is the only brand I'll be buying from now on.

Works Well for a Variety of Projects
I work a lot with heavy inks for calligraphy and typography so I am always looking for a paper that will be able to withstand such materials. The Koh-I-Noor Bristol Smooth handles this perfectly. I have also done a few runs of screen printing on this and it has held up very well. The In and Out Pages makes scanning and digitizing work much easier and allows me to stay more organized.

Not great for graphite
I was looking for a bright white paper with smooth texture for use with graphite, and I also wanted a wire binding. This paper has all of those features. But many of the sheets have surface flaws that really mess up graphite shading. Also, the wire binding doesnβt work smoothly, with the result that sheets can tear out whether you want them to or not.

Very handy!
Very nice for pen & ink. I love the fact that I can remove pages, draw with the paper on a different surface, and then replace the page when done. It works very well! It does away with the problem of detailed drawing while holding a pad in a sometimes awkward position.

Great
Love this paper. Make cards and it's great for copics or any markers, wet mediums, embossing, anything. Saw a recommendation by a pro on YouTube and so glad I tried it.

Love it πππ
I mainly use it for colored pencil illustrations, but Iβve used this with watercolor and it held, no warping. Colored pencils go on smoothly. Smooth blending. Can hold a lot of erasing. You can take the paper out easily and put it back in.

The best Bristol board out there
I have tried a lot of bristol boards as an artist. This paper for me is the best, It allows you to work at length on the paper but doesn't get the bobbling that some other papers get. It erases graphite beautiful and it allows the artist to maintain a definite difference between values. The pages pull out from the side but you are able to pop them back in so keeps any artwork safe.Paper is a little pricey but on this occasion when you are spending over 100 hours on an artwork it's worth getting the best you can afford
