Bought this to try as an alternative to Daddies and HP. All that I can really say is that is a bit better than Daddies (more of a kick in the flavour) and about as good as HP (sharp and tart, with less sweetness). The one point that I have to make is that the recipe relies on the vinegar flavour too much and has a less spicy flavour than HP. It also contains soy sauce, which I prefer to the molasses, which is the equivalent ingredient in Daddies. Overall, I would not buy it again! The Irish, who use this regularly, should try HP instead.

A taste from the past, Yorkshire relish of course! No mistaking the willow pattern label.
