Easy to use and came a week early! It doesn't take much to get a good spark. I have just received my second one today. This time it came in a nice tin case slightly smaller than an altoids tin. The rod itself works great! with my first one I was able to start numerous fires with outdoor tender alone. Also I should note this was the first one that I have ever used, although it did take me a little practice to get a fire going. I didn't expect it to be as easy as a lighter or matches. I have used my first one many times and it still has plenty of use left to it.

These were given along with leather projects that were made as gifts, these rods have always worked outstandingly and with the strikers I'm able to put out a tremendous amount of sparks. Planning on purchasing more for other projects
