These are super sturdy and putting them in was a piece of cake. They just slide right onto your racks. No screws or anything like that. My husband’s closet was giving me anxiety because his piles were starting to run together. Was excited to find these! I wasn’t sure how they were going to work with our wire shelves but they work just fine! They don’t cling as tightly (if that makes sense) to the wire shelf as they would to a solid wood shelf but the clothes help keep them upright and they still work great!

This is my third purchase of this item. I bought a set for my daughter and she loved them. I bought a second set for my linen closet which you can see here. They worked like a dream. They are very sturdy and hold on tight to the wood shelves. I did have to use a rubber mallet to help me get the dividers all the way into position, but that wasn't a problem. It just means that they won't shift around or dislodge too easily. I liked the way that my linen closet turned out so well that I bought a third set to use in my blanket and pillow closet. Well worth the money. The complaints I read before I purchased stated that they didn't work with wire shelves. True, but they aren't designed for that. The customers should have read the description first.

I was impressed with how sturdy these are. Clip them to a shelf that is substantial--they will not work on wire shelves or anything flexible. My shelf is about a half an inch thick wood, and they clipped on easily, stand upright and hold stacks of 6-10 sweaters and 8-10 purses in place. It would be easy to use a regular pliers to squeeze them closed for a skinnier shelf or open them slightly for a thicker shelf, but I didn't need to and I think they are probably good as-is for most closet shelves. Exactly and simply what I wanted--no time, effort and expense of installing closet organizers. Very good value, too, as you get 8 in the pack.

They are simple to install, look great and make our closets more organized, neater and more functional. I can keep sweaters, t-shirts, athletic wear and polos separated and all visible. The Boss's purses are now held vertical and organized. These are very solid and hold in place firmly. I bought two sets, then two more, then another two more -- I wish I'd known how well they would work and ordered them all at once, but I had no way to know I could use 48(!) for just the closets in the master bedroom!Now She is looking at other closets, and I expect I will be ordering more soon...

I don’t have a thick base wood shelf that this seems to be made for. The dividers work , just loose which is fine as long as there are clothes next to it. I would like to see a option for wire shelves or the ability to add something to work with it as the white wire color matches the existing wire more than anything. They have done a good job of keeping clothes in their respective piles, but you need to be sure that it does go higher than 11 inches or it will. They are heavy duty wire like the shelf and have no problem with quality. If you have wood shelves and need separation this would be recommended. If you have wire shelves, while helpful and design complimentary I would not recommend.

These worked great for my purposes. I have so many sweaters, and I keep them folded on the top shelf of my closet. Over time, they fall over onto each other and it becomes a big mess. These shelf dividers fit easily over the edge of my wooden shelf, and allow me to separate the stacks of sweaters. It looks so much neater, and the dividers seem to be stable and sturdy. I'm glad they're metal instead of plastic, as I feel like they'll hold up better over time. These would also be great for separating purses on a shelf. I only wish they were a little bit taller, but they work great and the price is reasonable.

Reorganizing my closet these dividers are a must have! They are well made and sturdy and keep my shelves looking neat and orderly. Easy to install no tools needed. They’re great and I’m so happy I ordered another set.👍🏼

I installed the shelf dividers in my basement bathroom linen closet. This bathroom opens to the pool and this closet is primarily used for pool towels. It’s always such a disaster with my kids and guests opening and closing and rummaging through the towels. I installed these dividers to keep them organized better. The wire piece on the bottom that secures the dividers to the shelf curves inward, so it basically clamps to board as long as it’s not too thick. I was considering building cubes in that closet, this was a much easier to install and cheaper option.
