I just installed this single 12” I purchased, along with a Rockford prime 1200.1 amp in my 2013 Grand Caravan. I built a vented box to manufactured specs. Freshly installed (day 3) so gain down, bass boost control all the way down….. KNOCKS! I just wanted a single sub so I still have room and a little bass cause I drive a ton as this is my work vehicle. It pounds so ridiculously hard without wasting any energy. Super clean, deep, beautiful bass and I’m super pumped to crank the amp after break in and really let her have it. Fingers crossed I don’t shatter my windows 🤣

UPDATE, November 2022: I never believed a speaker would really sound significantly better after it's broken in. Slightly better perhaps; somewhat better maybe. Besides this animal really ROCKED from the moment it 1st touched electricity. Really, how much better could an truly awesome sounding new speaker get?Woe, wasn't I the ignorant one! What once sounded great is now unbelievably magnificent!!! 🤗 There are NO WORDS that can adequately describe the incredibly deep, powerful, and completely undistorted bass this 12" super, super, super subwoofer creates tirelessly, hour after smokin' hour. When I get out of my pickup after a multi-hour drive I can't hear very well for a while & I can barely walk from all the vibration and the elation of really FEELING my music going all the way down into the core of me. So cleen. So, so deep. Sell your shotgun - or even your dog, if you have to - but get this Cerwin-Vega sub. And then, whatever you do, DO NOT underpower this subwoofer: you'll need a 2,000W amp to make this kitty purr and to make the Big, Bad Wolf howl all night long!) You will be SO glad you did! 😄😎🤠ORIGINAL REVIEW: This 12" Stroker subwoofer sounds great so far, but it's still in its break-in period so I haven't really cranked on it yet.  Lots of very low bass with no distortion.  This sub is so much better than the Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1200F 12" shallow mount subwoofer I originally bought for my Super Crew pickup.  That sub sounded great too, for one single day.  Then it blew.About 10 years ago I installed a different model Cerwin-Vega 12" subwoofer in another p/u and it's still going strong.  More than 20 years ago I bought a pair of Cerwin-Vega 15" 3-way floor-standing speakers, with a small pair of C-V surround-sound speakers for the walls.  Lately I added an (18 year?) old Cerwin-Vega 15" sub to this lot & all of them sound absolutely fantastic.  I live in Bass Heaven!This summer a professional car stereo installer told me that Cerwin-Vega was sold a few years back & since then their quality has gone down a lot.  Don't believe it for a moment.  True, the company was sold, but it sounds like CERWIN-VEGA'S QUALITY HAS GONE UP, if anything.This Stroker 12" subwoofer is top-of-the-line.  Cerwin-Vega makes GREAT speakers that last & last.  They always have.  Buy it if you love loud, deep, clean bass.  Deserves 6 stars on a scale from 1 to 5.

This is a very powerful sub. You need the right amp to push it. Very happy with all the cerwin Vega subs I have bought. Two 8 inch and now this banger. Good product for the money. only had them for a month and so far they seem reliable and hit extremely hard. Make sure you have the right amp. I have a DS18 1600 pushing the 8s and a Toro 2400 pushing the 12.

I cannot believe this woofer is this cheep! I'm ordering another before they figure out this is a 1000 value woofer. I did a side by side comparison in my Jeep with a jl w6 vs this stroker and it blows it away! Just look at them side by side it's a joke this woofer is Soo much bigger and better in everyway. Just look at the speaker surround it's twice the size more woofer throw( movement). Insane the amount of air this woofer moves. Watch my video it's insane! You have to buy this woofer! The best woofer I've ever had and I have no budget. Buy this woofer or don't and pull up next to me and be envious.

I have this in a sealed box hooked up to a old school Rockford Fosgate 1000BD and it slams. Sound quality is superb I couldnt be happier. Thanks cerwin vega!
