I bought this carburetor for my Excel 2300 power washer. After determining the Briggs and Stratton carburetor number from my engine, this carburetor indicated that it was a replacement. The carb didn't fit on the engine side due to the diameter of the throat of the carburetor was .007 too small. Therefore, it would not butt up against the o-ring properly. I had to grind down the tube from the engine in order for this carb to fit. The carb does work and the engine runs properly. Next time, I'll spend a few extra dollars and buy the original part from Briggs.

Ordered this to try to make my pressure washer run correctly. Received the carb in 3 days. It fit as OEM with the exception of the O-ring manifold seal was too large. It didn't fit the engine nor the carb. Luckily the OEM seal was in good shape. Installed and started on first pull. Ran great. I highly recommend this if your BS engine is not running correctly. Trying to fix the original carb just isn't worth the trouble.

Put this carb on a Briggs and Stratton quantum 6.0 pressure washer motor. The carb itself is built good. My engine had a plastic throat coming from the engine that went into the carb. Well it did not fit into this one but it was very easy to file it down slightly which made everything fit perfect. Came with a new O-Ring and gasket which is a huge plus!

Today's gasoline is formulated to last about 6 to 8 weeks. In a lawn mower that is not used over the winter you need to get ALL the gas out and clean the bowl or it turns to jello. If you don't want to so this, use an additive such as Stabil. I forgot and clogged the carb. It took 20 minutes to remove the old one, and ten to install the new one. Works like a charm. I cleaned the old carb at my leisure and it is ready to go again, or replace this one if it clogs!

Considering a rebuild or a new carb the choice is clear because of the few dollar difference. The carb fit great on my 6 HP pressure washer and started on the second pull which hasn't happened since I've own the machine.

Worked perfect. My pressure washer always ran lean and you had to keep the choke on to have it run, I tried cleaning the one I had but didn’t help and there was no way to adjust it. Replaced it with this and runs better than it did new

Came with everything needed. Easy to install. Machined to match the OEM. Fired right up. Probably one of the best buys I have made. Seamless and cheap. Delivered the next day!!

Perfect fit for my pressure washer with a B & S six horsepower Quantum motor. Fired right up and ran like a top.
