Q: Is this a good starting point in the series? also am i missing anything big by not getting dlc?

I would say it’s a good jumping on point. The dlc is fun but I wouldn’t say it’s needed to enjoy the game.

Q: Mine said chinese subs on the back. does anyone know if you can still change the subtitle to english? i don't want to open it and be screwed.

Although I don’t have the same exact game with this issue, but my OG moondweller have the same issue and only display in Chinese, lucky I do read Chinese as well

If your talking about Changing Language sub, you cant, and if you want to use the dlc for this version....you must have Asia ps4 account.
