GE WH13X10023 Water Valve for Washer

My washer had no cold water so after checking for obstructions and running the diagnosis error codes plus reading online, I guessed it was this valve. Replacement was not hard, biggest challenge was taking the dryer off cuz it is heavy. My husband and I changed the valve out in a few minutes and the washer is working well again.

First off, I hate my front-loader washer, for many reasons. One recent reason was, it was taking 3 hours to wash a load of laundry! And with that, it wasn't truly clean. I mentally chalked it up to, I hate this washer. Then it finally just quit washing at all, and a light slowly dawned. The digital display was fine, but it wasn't filling with water. Cue a repair search. Which turned up a high probability that the valve was bad. So I disassembled the machine (not hard at all, simple hand tools were all that were needed). Inside the machine was a parts/wiring diagram, even better. And a little investigation verified that the valve was the problem. Ordered this, it came quickly, it installed easily, and now I hate the machine a little less. I still hate it, but it washes quickly and the close come out clean, so I can live with it. (I think the hot water side of the valve probably went first, so I was washing everything in cold water, little did I know.)

LIFE SAVER. And I'm guessing I saved a lot of money by finding this part and fixing my washer myself too. I put my GE front loader washer into the diagnostic test mode when it started stopping during the rinse cycle consistently. I got the E22 error code indicating the fill process was the problem. My hoses were good so we figured we needed this valve. It arrived in 2 days and it literally took 5 minutes to install. My washer is like new now! Tip: We took a pic of the old valve and connections before we disassembled it so we knew exactly how to hook the new one up.

Works great!!!!! Fixed my issue with the washer pausing/stopping frequently during my loads!!! Error code E22.

Our hot water valve went out and we ordered this and fixed it in about ten minutes (including time to move the washer). Product was exactly as advertised and what we needed.

I debated on oem vs the generic all purpose item. I went with this oem product. Install took me about 15 minutes and fixed my no hot water issue. Would recommend if you need a replacement.

10 year old GE washer started leaving water in the tub after no use for a while. Turns out the inlet valve was leaking. This replaces the entire inlet valve. Easy fix solved the problem. 20 minutes max to replace.
