GE Appliances WH08X10024 Washer Drive Belt

exactly the part we needed to fix our GE Washer. It is a little difficult to get on, and it seems a little small but it's not. It will work!How we did it:My husband took a small length (about 8 inches) of paracord, and after lining up a small part of the belt on the large wheel, he tied it in place. Then put the belt over the small (motor) pulley, and then turned the large wheel to feed on the rest of the belt. Then don't forget to remove the paracord. You may want work gloves to protect your hands.Now our wash machine is fixed and spins much better now :)

This was an exact replacement for the original belt in our 12 year old washer. If you don't have four hands, it is easy to install if you use two zip ties to hold the belt onto the drum pulley.

Despite what listing claims, there no manufacturers warranty for this part. I was directed to the manufacturer for claim and I contacted GE Appliance Parts and they clearly said that 1yr manufacturer warranty is only for parts sold by them. They will not honor the warranty for parts purchased on Amazon or elsewhere. The listing is false in claiming that there's manufacturer warranty.

Listen this belt is correct size. You have to realize it is made "short" to allow the tension it needs on the pulley to spin at the fast speed your washer spins at.I found using a heavy duty ziptie to hold onto the pulley while two people turned the pulley slowly it fit itself right on track.Watch those youtube videos you can DIY, I'm a girl and I did it!

I have a question about the belt GE WH08X10024, I purchased it for my GE Adora Front Load washer, installed the belt and the belt falls off. I installed a new pulley and new belt, I did the diagnostic test T10, T11, T14. When I did my first load of laundry which I kept light I saw and heard everything going correctly then I noticed the tub wasn't spinning. For some reason this new belt keeps falling off. Any recommendations?

At half price buying from AMAZON when compared to everything else online; and even less when compared to buying it from the repairman, this was an AWESOME DEAL!! Be warned though- this is a STRETCH belt. At first glance I thought it was 2 inches too short but after my wife of all people showed me how to put it on, it was perfect. But even with her knowledge and help, it's not the easiest task. One other note- if your pulley is even a little loose / slack (Pulley should be tight with NO PLAY), a new belt will ruin it. Highly suggest replacing both at the same time so you only have to do it once.

Was originally scared due to multiple reviews of this belt not fitting, that the size was too small. Really needed a new belt so I risked it and ordered it. Found that it looked an inch or 2 too small. Found a 2 minute YouTube video...2 zip ties for stability later and it freaking worked. Washer works like a charm!!

Was too small for my wbvh5300k0ww. Couldn't get it onto the pulley. Put the old belt back on.

The first words out of my husband's mouth "This is the wrong part...it's too tight!" My response "Use zip ties." 15 minutes later the item was installed and works fine! My washer is a GE manufactured in 2007, so this is the replacement part (part number does not match the original).

Did not use this and had to return it as the entire washer was toast!
