AuroraIpsilon Resin Green Medium Point Fountain Pen - AU-B11V-M

This pen writes wonderfully right out of the box. Inked it up with Noodler's Air Corps (blue-black) ink as it has a strong teal cast and this pairs well with the green of the pen. Have only written with this pen on one type of paper, which is cheap paper aimed at computer printers, and it writes wonderfully (smooth with just a hint of feedback).The use of this pen will be daily writing in my journals, but also in sketching on a variety of papers, from Moleskine to Fabriano to Strathmore. Will give this pen more of a "test drive" on these papers in the next few days.But so far, I l💚ve this pen.

Italian always good..........wish it were made of better and had gold nib etc but price was reasonable...so all in all a good buy.

I bought the dark green/gold.Very lightweight in your hand, initially I thought that made it feel cheap, but then realized it left me with no cramps or pain after writing for awhile.Cartridges last a better than average amount of time, ink is very smooth, evenly dispersed from the top, and there’s very little drag when you’re writing.Took a minute to initially get the ink flowing, but once it started it was gloriously evenflowing and glossy. Dries quickly. Very little smudging.I was initially afraid it was overpriced, But now I’m impressed that it was as inexpensive as it was.A really good buy for a fountain pen connoisseur.

I recently began using my fountain pens again on an everyday basis. I am enjoying them and decided to shop the Aurora line. The Ipsilon is their entry-level model and it is very nice. Gold-plated steel nib writes very smoothly. The girth of the pen is medium, I would say. Not too fat and not overly thin. Nice for a medium sized hand. A very nice feature is that the Aurora accepts Parker cartridges which are easy to find. I chose the medium point nib. Unfortunately, there was not a fine point for me to try. The medium may be slightly more broad than other mediums but it is just fine for everyday use.I recommend this pen. It appears to be an excellent value for the money.
