What I like about this mascara is that it adds volume and length to lashes without clumping or flaking. Previously, I tried the big yellow brand, and it flaked off into my eyes so badly that I threw it in the garbage, a complete waste of money. This mascara lasts all day and into the evening. I would prefer a thinner brush, but no big deal. One thing to be aware of is that some mascara removers, such as the popular Almay mascara remover pads, don't work with this formula. It comes off better with plain soap and water than with the special mascara remover. I would purchase this brand again. It ranks up with my other favorite volumizer mascara by L'Oreal.

I have been using Max Factor mascaras for years and was so disappointed to find out about a year ago that there products were no longer being sold in the US. I am not sure why, but I am grateful I can still find it on Amazon. This is the absolute best mascara. it lengthens and darkens without ever clumping. I have all the women at my office using it now as well as my mom, sister and daughter. Everyone agrees it's the best out there.

great mascara as always from max factor..the brush is great, thickens and elongates with out being too muchno clumps or flakes, makes your lashes look smooth and even...no melting down.. stays put but easy to remove with soap and water...the velvet black shade was lighter than i expected, not as dark as i wanted but still works great.. just a piece of info for my next purchase

Max Factor is the only brand of mascara that works to plump up and lengthen my wimpy eyelashes. So imagine my dismay a few years ago when Max Factor decided it would no longer sell its products in the United States. Amazon.com to the rescue! The 2000 Calorie mascara works like a charm. Who needs falsies when you've got this product?

Love this mascara!! Not only does it not flake off - it is super easy to take off in the shower!! I use a tiny dab of baby shampoo to take it off - rinses off like a dream! I will definetly buy this again!

I have been using this mascara for several years now and it is the only mascara that I have found that does not flake or smudge on me.

this mascara got rave reviews not sure why mine seemed to be dried up? for the 20.00 price i will say i have to return it!

Loved this mascare. Too bad Max Factor is no longer around. I wish another company would purchase this formula and begin manufacturing it.
