My snails and shrimp are thriving because of this stuff! 🩵
Love this stuff! I have lots of snails and shrimp and double dose it a couple times a week, alongside providing cuttlebone. (The babies suck out so much calcium from the water column lol) Their shells are absolutely beautiful and no issues with my shrimp molting. I noticed their lifespan has dramatically increased since I started using this, too. :)

Shrimp are happy
I live in an area with really soft tap water, so all my shrimp would usually die after their first molt. However, after finding this, my shrimp are flourishing.I find that this bottle gets used up really quick, I wish it was more concentrated. 5mL per gallon gives you about 23 gallons of use. For me, that's about 5 water changes, which is a month for a small tank. At least it's fairly cheap.

Small size, will go fast but the artificial color is what lost a star.
Easy to use, makes RO water recharged for living the shrimp life properly. The cost is pretty low so the fact that it goes fast isn’t a huge deal but the ingredients have “artificial” color added. This is offputting and something I would have passed on had I know this prior. There is a pink color added to the mix for some reason and I’m pretty sure my shrimps would prefer to not have that. That coupled with how much you need to use and how small the bottles are is an unnecessary waste and monetary upkeep. These things made me take off a star. It is convenient if your in a pinch cause local pet shop may have it on the shelf. That said, I’ll use this up but when it’s finished i have already bought the “saltyshrimp gh+/kh+“ for future water changes and long term remineralization solutions.

Shrimps best friend!
Exactly what my shrimpies needed! I actually got this after adding the cherries to my first tank and they perked up immediately. They've had more successful molts and I like to think this is the reason. Will purchase again!

Helps shrimp be happy
These minerals help shrimp molt. If they can't molt they get the white rings of death and won't survive. This small size is good for 5 gal tank for about two months of water changes for water quality and health.

A good price (compared to big box pet store) on a trusted brand... but too diluted by far.
Okay, this stuff DOES work. Slowly, and in large amounts. It's so incredibly dilute it's dosed 5ml (out of ~120ml in the bottle) PER GALLON. If your water (R/O or otherwise) is soft like mine, it will take basically the entire bottle to bring a single 20-gallon tank to desirable levels for shrimp, and just enough left for a small water change - you'll use 1/8th to 1/4 the bottle (at ~$4 a pop) or more with every water change.Or, to put it another way: a 3-gallon water change will cost you USD ~$0.50. There's enough in the bottle to treat 24 gallons of soft water.Yes, the price here compared to in-store is way cheaper, and Aqueon is a reputable brand easy to put blind trust in when you don't know what else to use. But there ARE other brands - not all available on Amazon, but some quite reputable, like Aquarium Co-Op - that offer much more concentrated doses, like the "Shrimp Minerals" from CrystalPro that I just got from Amazon, which, at 5ml per 27 gallons (100L), is 27x more concentrated than this product, and in a 4.4 oz bottle for less than $7, isn't even twice the price. AND it's not made in China, either. So, this product is reliable because of the brand name. I didn't have to think about whether I could trust the brand or do any research, and it's never harmed my tank, but it turns out there are simply significantly better values for the money without necessarily sacrificing product quality.
