Great quality. Excellent functionality. Tacticool look
First off, fit. I'm one of those weird guys that fit perfectly well in smalls by some brands and is bursting through a medium by others. I got a medium for this jacket and it's a bit big but I got it expecting to wear multiple layers beneath it and it fits okay when layered up. Still a tad roomy though. Pockets. Pockets everywhere. Inside and out. On the body and on the sleeves. I intended this to be a jacket I wore on cold rainy days out on the shooting range and you can't have enough pockets when you're running classes. Some of the pockets are pretty big too. It's not really a concealed carry jacket and since this whole jacket screams "TACTICAL" you wouldn't be very covert anyways, but you CAN fit a pistol in several pockets. Weatherproofing. I wore it outdoors through a week of considerable rain storms and the waterproofing held up. That's why I went with this jacket in the first place as opposed to similar ones that just say "water resistant". The hood is overlarge so it will fit over a beanie and even some gear on your head, or if you just have a giant head, is adjustable with a shock cord so you can have it fit smaller over your bare head. The hood can technically be stowed inside the collar but you'll look like you're walking around with a travel pillow around your neck. The jacket is also pretty wind resistant too when the zipper is pulled up all the way and the cuffs are tightened. Overall, great jacket for the price. Has a neat tacticool look along with lots of functionality. I would recommend it for anyone.

OMG! I love them!
I know these are men's but I used convert chart to get women's sizes and the boots fit great. I bought them for my first camping trip and I wore them jogging a few times to break them in which I felt wasn't necessary after the fact. I wore with some hiking socks and the boots were very comfortable the whole four days of hiking. I love the fact that I stepped in water and my toes didn't instantly get wet. They are water resistant not water proof which is what I was wanting so that they do breathe a little. It provide great support for my ankle & my feet weren't sore at all.. The zipper on the side is my favorite part making it so easy when camping or hiking for quick removal or quickly getting them on. Once you have your laces set you don't have to keep re-lacing everytime you put your shoes on. It seems like very durable material and well worth what I paid for. They even look great with my shorty shorts! I'm usually little accident prone but they protected my feet and I actually kept my balance a lot better then when I hiked in sneakers. They were very well package and in perfect condition. I thought to buy hiking shoes from other places but I'm glad I went with these boots, price and quality are outstanding. The only thing that I was concerned about is it seemed to have a wide toe area, which I'm told is a good thing. I liked that I could still wiggle my toes but I didn't really have any issues with it, so it's probably I'm just used to my platform heels squeezing my toes together. Overall very happy with these boots and I do highly recommend them.

If I could do 4.5 I would
These are some pretty good boots, they have very nice tread that doest allow too much mud at any givin time to cake up on it but however gives you extremely nice grip and life to them. I have had these boots for over a year now so I feel it is time to rate them. Now what I have been using these boots for is hiking, caving and rock climbing and on a lot of my hikes and climbs I have tortured these boots. They have held up very well however since I don't use them on a consistent basis I was expecting tem to hold up a little better. In a span of 8 or so months I noticed the soul on my left boot was completely comin off. Fixing took just gorilla glue and good as new however if you are going to wear these non-stop everyday I might be a little concerned about that. The tread itself with hard rock climbs and hikes over touch terrain is still in outstanding shape excluding the tip of the toe (again die to rock climbs) and the ball of my foot which is to be expected after a year. I have loved the zipper allowing me to forget about lacing everytime I need my boot on and off, something very helpful when crossing a river and getting right back to hiking. Honestly these are very good boots I do concider buying again but just that the soul came off with limited use so quickly kinda puts me of just a bit, it is also still possible to roll your ankle even though they are high tops. Very good boot and worth the money depending what you want with them, mine will am are still in use after a year and only 1 minor/easy repair.

Great Purchase:)
First of all, I would like everyone to know that I'm ex-military. Therefore, I have worn plenty of G.I. issued combat boots. G.I. combat boots are always uncomfortable, and have the weight of a brick. These combat boots from Rothco are a godsend! They are a half a size too big but that's okay because it leaves room for some gel soles and thick socks. I just received them, and I've been walking around the house in my new boots and my underwear all morning lol. These boots are comfortable and super lightweight. The zipper is plastic but seems sturdy enough. Steal in the toe and sole! Outstanding! Only one complaint, no pull up loop on back of the boot. No biggie, I will have my local shoe repair guy add some. All in all, well worth the money. I'm going hiking in the mountains this Sunday so I will update this review to let you know how they performed. Until then, I give this boot five stars because they don't allow more then five stars:) Update: 9/9/2014 I have worn these boots for a while now. I have been hiking, camping, and just wearing them for fun. These boots are actually a size too big. So order them accordingly. These boots are tough, and comfortable. I would have paid more for them. Excellent boots, and well worth the money.

These are nice boots, they hold up well, and they are comfortable. The zipper feels good, but you need to pull both ends together pretty far. I like the light tan color of the boots. They dont have the best grip on ice. These run about a size big, still feels good loose just gives extra room for thick wool socks. Like these boots so much I bought a second pair, if you are cross shopping id also consider Bates boots, but avoid the Propper brand.
