Gosedy Manual Ceramic Mini Portable Handhold Coffee Machine Washable Coffee Bean Mill Coffee Grinder (Pattern 1)

I have two Hario mini plus and I need a third one. I looked around I chose this due to the similarity in the design so now you know where my review is based on. Upon receiving it, I disassembled and found the ceramic burr is smaller and the outer ring is glued instead removable as found in the Hario design. The burr is also sitting up high above the jar so that the ground coffee sticks around the rim due to the statics and creates a mess when opening. You can reduce the issue by tapping on it to make the ground coffee drops before opening. The difference between the cheap and expensive manual grinders is the precision of shaft rotation. You get fine and uniform ground coffee when the shaft is held rigidly and centered during the grinding. You can tell by grinding without the beans at the fine grind position. If the burrs doesn't grind on each other badly or getting stuck on certain positions then it is good. This quality is probably costs you much more even hario can't meet.Let's get back to this grinder, I set the burr at the finest position that the burrs hardly touch when grinding, i wiggle the bottom and found it moves quite a lot, relatively. This tell me I wil not get uniform ground coffee. This happens because the small plastic washer insert to keep the shaft in place is loosing, as designed, and I found it is fixed with the Hario grinder.Here is how fix this and you follow as your own risk and nnay lose the grinder.- Disassemble the burr and identify the small plastic insert and notice where it goes to and the direction so you know what I explained earlier. it is the last piece that is pushed against the shaft tube.- Put back everything and make sure no problem- Tighten the bottom nut CW to get the finest pisition that you can grind slowly- Use you finger to reposition that piece while grinding to see if you can get the best smooth grind- Use super glue to nail that position.2/28/2019The handle is broken.
