Quoted $350 + $150 installation at a local boat shop. Did it myself, simple to follow directions and good fit. Only towed about 5 miles so far but unless it has a mfg flaw it will be fine. I've towed all kinds of stuff, light and heavy over the years, this is a good product and will do what it's built for. Even if you are not a DIY person you will do OK with the installation.

Nice heavy construction and torx head was included. Instructions suck so watch a few YouTube videos before you start and don't forget about your wires. I did but I discovered marine grade soder butt connectors in the process which are my new go to for cut wires

The installation was a breeze and simple with basic tools. Kit comes with everything necessary and is very heavy duty. Without it my boat and trailer never would fit in my garage. Excellent product, very fast shipping. I'm very happy

Works great....allows my garage door to close completely and is so easy to open or close the swing away.

Simple installation instructions for anyone with intermediate mechanics skills. Transfer punch to centrepunch the mounting hole & Torx Bit included in the kit. The biggest challenge for anyone with less than intermediate skills is cutting the tongue square. Once that is accomplished, drilling the 16 mounting holes can be challenging especially the 4 on the underside of the trailer side of the tongue otherwise it is a straightforward process.

For the first time in over 20 years my boat now fits in my garage with the door closed. This hinge worked perfectly. There is no slack or unwanted flex. I cut the tongue with a grinder after removing the wiring and measuring carefully. I used new, quality drill bits as my old ones weren't up to the task. All the bolts were torqued. Don't skip that step. Follow the directions and take your time. I couldn't be happier with the result.

If you can't change the oil on your car you won't be able to do this. If you can, its a fantastic product.

Great add-on if you need place recommend this unit my was 3x4 there are other sizes easy install with minimal tools I was able to swing about 30" of the tongue out of the way. Again great add-on
